I’m from Florida and I always grew up around places there were gators. I have very good senses and I am at work enough to know when there is a gator nearby. Even when other people would be walking with me in Florida I would be able to tell them if they got too close to a certain area that there was a gator in it. Some would not listen and walk towards those areas and get hissed at by the gators. I even knew when I was surrounded by them when they were hiding and how to escape.

@@devindethomaso2646 Think what you want but I am a very perceptive person. I could notice things by rivers and lakes that others didn’t pay attention to. It kept me alive that time I got chased by about 3 or 4 gators up top of that wooden park bench and table. My father used to whack them on the snout with his cane if they got too close. I seem to remember a funny fight over a fish it jumped and grabbed off his pole one time at a fishing dock.

Most of these people weren't even paying attention, if that was real, they would have been missing some limbs

When I was a boy growing up in Florida. I was with my father on a canoe trip for boy scouts for a 50 mile foot a flote patch. We came across a large pile of water hyesence clogging the river. Up from this hole in this grass walked a 15 ft aligator. My dad and were stunned. We left him alone he left us alone. Left Florida and Moved to Austin Texas in 1976!!

That’s a very good point about the gators in Florida. Having lived there for 26 years I can tell you that as long as you leave the gators alone that they will leave you alone. If you get too close they will hiss at you to warn you away. They usually have a big tolerance for humans but it’s best to give them their space.
