Rod, just discovered these vids. They’re the perfect way to de stress and relax after a day of commuting on the London Underground and a long day in front of a computer in the studio. Thanks for a very immersive glimpse into a beautiful part of the world. I especially love the cooking, it’s mesmerising and brilliant slow tv! I’m inspired to do the same somewhere closer to home although now I want to visit Fraser Island and Australia! Best wishes from London. Tony

Yeah, I'm totally agree. I have one of 3.5 meters and I do it too, it's magical. Congratulations sir for your adventures and a hug from Canary Island, Spain.
I knew you were a natural guy... First the eagle feeding, now the thing with possums and mandarin.... You can survive in the wild.. Pretty sure of it.
Wow im so glad i stumbled upon your channel my good man. Fishing, boating, catch and cooks, knowledgeable host, good language(meaning no cussing, which really i dont care because i cuss myself but its nice to not hear it). Just good quality content. Now i just have to go back and watch all your old vids since I'm late to the party lol. Cheers from florida my man!!!

I've had meals like that in Ontario on Islands on fishing trips, or in Florida in a resort on the water. Its shocking how much you appreciate mornings, breakfast, and scenery when you take a moment. Fantastic visuals Rokkit.
stumbled upon these videos the other day. Me and my son can’t get enough info it now. You look like you are having a blast and clearly are making right and sound decisions based on safety and being prepared. Best of luck to you and look forward to more videos

Don't even like fishing, or really even eating fish. Somehow this is now my favorite channel regardless
Looks like a postcard, thanks for the vid!
I got the same set up boat wheels outboard all goes in the boot of the car, no mooring fees cheap and easy, awesome video, landing net might have come in handy lol
Great trip Rod! 👍
I scoffed when I saw all the go pro mounts, but then sat back and enjoyed the video... awesome stuff mate, loved it. Love your style and learnt heaps. I have been looking into the truekit navigator thinking they would be better for kids but that discovery is awesome. Cant believe how dry it stays. I dropped in to see rod at true kit in nz a few years ago, great product and great business. I definitely will be buying one. Im sure you have a plb on your jacket?
Just stumbled across your channel, great stuff mate, right up my alley,, cheers for the inspiration to get out there more,, this particular vid is in my home town, keep up the great work 👍

Going up in Jan, awesome vids mate. Been hanging for each episode to drop. :)
Love the multiple overnight camping/fishing videos....more please! Aloha from Virginia Beach, mate!
You need to show these videos to the PM to show how self isolating is really done!
Great tip about the possums! Kinda funny haha
Would be great to get a boat review vid about how it handles in the different situations you've had it in. Been thinking about a boat like this for myself for about a year so would be great to know the pros and cons for using it as a fishing/camping boat. Thanks for making great videos for us to enjoy mate!
You living dream brother...❤️❤️❤️

Love your work mate
There's no place like Fraser. You should definitely get yourself out on the surf side of the island. That little inflatable would handle getting out through the waves a treat. I've always had a yearning for sauntering up through all the gutters on Breaksea Spit too. That would be a rad adventure.

Take care and have a very happy Christmas with the Fam✌️PT

Wowwww mate so nice the vids👍🏼👍🏼 im watching it from the netherlands and i wanna go over there to fish ,cant wait to go to bonaire for work and fish again😜😜
Nice one mate
Man I can't wait to fish in the Ocean Again Hoping good lord willing lol I get to go to the Beach Next year
Boat seems to be running great in the windy conditions. Even with a bit of chop cuts nicely. I used to use a large piece of rubber matting on my RIB which I draped over my right pontoon. I used to land fish over that mat to avoid hooks and teeth going in.... works well. Drape it down to water level when landing a fish and then flip it onto the boat when driving. I also had a piece on the floor that helped me land fish that I wanted to take home. It was quite thick... about 1/2 cm thick.... think I got it from Clark rubber. Glue some D rings on pontoon as attachment points eyelets in rubber mat and stainless snap hooks to attach mat to D rings. Quick on and off and doubles as camp mat as well.

I trolled all the way from the marina to Wathumba recently and didn't get a single hit on various xraps
Perfect bro
Dudeee the mackerel was awesome, why you set it free? In my country that's lunch for sure lol
There’s something in The Old Man and the Sea about forgetting salt. Or lime? In that case sashimi in the boat, but you struck a Hemingway vibe for me.
Nice raw camera. Super editing.
Hemp is the most saltwater resistant natural fibre, buy a metre of 16oz hemp canvas, glue round the edges to stop it fraying. Mix 20 parts white spirit with 1 part silicone RTV and paint the canvas with the mix, the canvas will become ultra hydrophobic.
Since you stay or fishing for a long time and it’s very very hard but you should really think about getting a solar powered ice chest so that way you always have fresh food where ever you are or wherever you go.And where you are there’s always a lot of sun they even have a solar oven so you can cook without any propane you should check it out that be pretty cool to put on your videos I’m thinking about putting on my videos. Happy fishing
A penn on a veritas I just bought the same combo just last week !
Add some avocado and some chopped onion to your ceviche next time , good vid , keep em coming .
7:58 "we'll go grab a knife" from experience I'm learning you only bring your fillet knife 😅🤷♂️ if it works it works right.
