ONI you redacting son of a bitch, you covered up a flood outbreak on Earth and glassed half a continent to kill it off.

The very first time I loaded into this game I sat at the main menu just listening to this theme for a good half hour just amazed at how beautiful of a theme it is and still to this day over 80+ hours into the game I still sit there every time enjoying the music...just one of those things that runs chills down your spine 🤘🏻

@@Spoonington Yeah but I also thought it was the last DLC for the game, but since everyone is discovering the game as a free-to-keep on Epic I wouldn't be suprised if they'd make a Remnant 2. Atleast.. really hoping they do. This game has been a nice distraction for me while Destiny 2 content is on the boring side.

semi randomized maps just kills the game you cant access to most of the content in your first playthrough and the maps dont feel unique like from software games

I agree with you about the randomised map thing but they didn't try to do what fromsoft did...they paid homage and innovated making a souls experience like no other, the reason they made the randomised maps is maybe because of inspiring more exploration and maybe encouraged players to do multiple playthroughs not only to get what they wanted/needed but also to face tougher and more puzzling bosses and areas. (Not arguing with you in anyway just expressing my opinion on it and maybe trying to sway yours a small bit, don't attack me lol)

Its a fun game, for me. I like grinding for some reason.

I'm a bit disappointed that I hadn't found this game during the time of it's release, but I'm glad I'm here now. Enjoy it with the rest of you, for a better tomorrow!!!

After finishing the game, and hearing this when I opened it again made me wanna cry.

Such a soothing music.. I listen to it for at least 5-10 mins everytime I'm in the main menu before jumping in the game.. much needed relaxation before the fight begins anew..

how did we go from this to... what we have with Remnant 2? simply incredible.

Would be cooler if this played in-game more often

I enjoyed the menu theme but it hits when you could hear the same echo with the final boss music, really made an impression for me

I literally just installed the game and immediately had to look this music up. This is amazing. And unexpected. Amazingly unexpected. Oh my.

2:05 best part, very atmospheric...

Same here, saw the prequel game Chronos was like 2 bucks so I picked it up, instantly fell in love with the IP. Grabbed this game like a week ago to continue the series and good grief, I don’t care what people say about the gameplay itself, I don’t think I’ve heard a soundtrack so good that it could genuinely bring a tear to my eye like this series can do with JUST the main menu score. What a gem

Remnant 2 was my first, I absolutely loved the Menu OST. Hearing this for the first time is an absolutely extraordinary experience!

As a person who played the hell out of Remnant from the Ashes i can say this theme slapped hard. Remnant 2 hit a bit differently but still nice too.

One of the best themes i ever heard from gaming generation companies such a small game but really intense and enjoyable 🙂 u will be forever in my heart one of the best and coop game!!!

I highly recommend this game to anyone into challenging games like Dark Souls. It's also made by Gunfire Games, they are the same developers that made Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition and Darksiders 3. So definitely give this game a go!

I'm not a Dark Souls fan but I'm loving Remnant. Using guns makes all the difference. I'm only gear rank 14 and my favourite boss was maybe The Unclean One as he smashes up the whole room by the end of the fight. Most annoying were the Ixillis twins on the bridge. So glad when I managed that solo.

@Mongolian Dutch Oven I got Claviger in my game, never seen Harrow. I beat Claviger first try and got a hammer I didn't need. I've since discovered if you kill him a different way you get a particle accelerator gun....doh!

This game is amazing. Today I always play it with a friend and we got stuck at this game. The story can be netter but the fight are insane.

Just played through this game recently, very very good! Boss designs are fun, some are a little easy to beat. But in all, I’d rate it an 8/10. The music is definitely 10/10 for me, those moments in the desert were so intense when the music kicked in!

There isn't a ton of menu themes I just sit and listen to. This is one that I definitely took notice. I thought, "I gotta find that."

This is my Nostalgia when i finished download this until Sunrise then this music starts. Woah what an atmospheric soundtrack

The odd part about this is that most people will never hear the entire song, because it's the title screen music. As in the thing you hear idly in the background before you start the game. Maybe it would've been better to have it as the end credits music instead.

For the people who enjoyed this game as much as I did: There are a few, small hint around from the devs. Which hints to a sequel of remnant from the ashes. So a part 2 could be in the making/early stages allready. I don't know for sure. I'm still trying to find a definitive answer.

This Game is very underated...i love it! Took me off my addiction to play FF XIV online. XD so thats something.

I was legit blown away by this game. I avoided it for the longest time due to not knowing much plus not liking souls like. I finally played it not long after the final dlc dropped. FELL IN LOVE. The factions, the enemies, the lore, the gameplay. Easily 8-9 outta 10. Im SO PSYCHED for the sequel

So much fun playing with my friends and trying hard to beat every boos Now i play with one of them We were 4 now only me and 1 of them RIP😢

First you start in the post apocalyptic ruins of America, then by the time you're bashing in the skills of satyrs in a twilight forest with a hammer made out of a rusty motorcycle engine you're asking yourself "how the hell did I get here?" Remnent is a game with no consistent tone or setting and this music fits so well because it doesn't fit at all. It sounds like the ending credit music of some sort of high fantasy game, but instead it's in a game where you're mowing down blue elves in the Louisiana swamps with a laser beam that looks like it was made by H.R. Giger.

Anyone recommend this game ?

It's a great game that takes probably the best storytelling tips dark souls has. It's good combat rewards exploration, and secret finding. (Such as the SMG, Sniper, and Drifters Coat and Boots) I love the art style and reminds me of Bloodborne with how seamless combat between ranged/melee is. Just a great game that I'd recommend to anyone who loves SoulsBorne or even SoulsBorne-esque games.

It looks like Darksiders 3, its even using a lot of its assets and locations" but I never played Darksiders so I don't really see any of it. Care to elaborate whether this is true or not? I love it. The game and the soundtrack. This song reminds me of Avatar (The Bioliminescence Of The Night + Becoming One with Neytiri). I also get vibes from Game Of Thrones (Stark House Theme) + TES Oblivion (Main Theme) + Dragon Age Origins (Main Theme)... It definitely sounds familiar. A mix of the best.

Love this game and it's music so much. I kept trying to figure out what it reminds me of, and it reminds me VAGUELY of the old Lucasarts PC game Outlaws' music, but with a more instrumental/cinematic feel, and obviously vocals (which you didn't really get in midi from the 90s). I love the gunslinging, western gametype. I think I finally figured out a way to describe this game to people: Remnant: From the Ashes It's a steampunk, sci-fi, light horror/thriller, western, gunslinger game. It's like cowboys vs aliens, except actually good, the aliens are zombie trees, there are other aliens, AND you throw in a touch of Stargate and Serenity. (Also the obligatory "Dark Souls with guns")

One of my favorite things is a beautiful orchestral piece. The layers between the instruments and the chorus. I wish the story of the game was a bit more in depth, but I think the music is absolutely brilliant! Here's hoping for a second title in the series.
