I shot a pronghorn at 400 yards using a 280 Remington with a 140 Accubond that left the barrel at 2950. It went right through the buck's lungs and he collapsed after stumbling for ten yards. I'm sure one could successfully use it on game as large as cow elk with similar results at similar distances.

Nosler Accubond is the best all around bullet on the market today hands down

You have a good point. However you cannot deny the Nosler Partition. I would say the only issue I can see with the Accubond is people that are not Pushing it out at high enough velocity and trying to take animals at extreme distances. The expansion is just not there due to the amazing bond construction on Accubonds. Full Weight retention by design.

I personally dont think its the best bullet but they are great hunting bullets. The new Sierra TGK is my new favorite bullet for all applications.

@@dimmacommunication Tried them on lots of game and they suck. I wanted to like them as I didnt want lead fragments in my meat, but they dont expand/transfer energy worth shit. I have taken multiple deer and a bear with the ttsx. One was with a 257 wby 80gr going 3800 fps at a buck at 325 yards (impact velocity was around 2800) and it took hours to find it with no blood and a 257 dia exit hole. Bear was with a 340 wby and 160gr probably going around 3400 fps or more at 100 yards. Perfect shot but lost the bear after a half mile it crossed a river and ran up a cliff on the other side. They are very accurate bullets but just dont expand or transfer energy well to do enough damage. All shots I have made with them were good shots with more than enough velocity, they just dont work nearly as well as a good bonded or partition style bullet.

A good test for a good bullet! I use the acubond and partition in most of my rifles. I do get a bit better grouping with the acubond for the most part.

180 grain Accubond out of my 300 RUM at 3350 fps has never failed me as a hunting round. Moose and deer taken have been quick and clean kills and I've recovered 3 so far out of 12 and they look just like yours. On big Alberta deer broadside shots are very destructive through the vitals and pass through even at just under 600 yards. They are also accurate bullets with very little weight variations as tested on my Lyman electronic scale.

In the 7mag a 160gr AB at 3000fps will kill all big game easily. ( not dangerous game obviously like buffalo ect )

I know from first hand experience it will go through the shoulder of a bull elk shot at 300 yards and come to a rest under the hide on the offside. I also shot a mulie buck in the point of the shoulder at about 250 yards and he simply collapsed. The bullet went completely through the deer. Great, great bullets.
