Love your stuff! What keyboard are you using? Thanks!
imo they should combine calendar and reminders so u can add a reminder to an event cos its so weird with all the apple integration i can add an event add a note to it, it will appear on my apple watch but then i gotta add a reminder for things i have to get ready before the event in a separate app in a separate way
You are one of the best presenters of technology on KZread. This video has been extremely useful to me.
Notes and reminders should have the same tag referencing I think. Tag being a phone wide thing would be a good setting
Thank you so much for this video, PHT. I remember my girlfriend getting hype when interactive widgets were launched because of Reminders. Being an Apple ecosystem user for over a decade, I never really gave Reminders a chance and didn't care to. It didn't suit my workflow. I'm extremely tech-savvy/literate, but even with the new iteration of Reminders, I was too lazy and too loyal to Todoist to give it another go. This video is the epitome of the type of content I live for on YT. Not even halfway through the video, I've decided to give Reminders another shot. I appreciate your thorough walkthroughs and can imagine it'd help those who aren't tech-savvy and/or are new to Apple. Immediately subscribed. All the best!

Did you switch to reminders at the end?
Excellent video! I have used reminders for years but never tapped into their full potential. Thank you for presenting the capabilities in an easy to follow format. Especially love the mail reminder feature!
This is such a good video. Thank you!

I use reminders all the time too. I like that it’s simple with no bells and whistles that I don’t want. I just want something that works.
🤯 When you showed how to change the display to "Horizontal View" (4:40) you caught me off guard as I was not expecting to learn anything radically new from this video. Combined with the sections and sub tasks for which up to now I had no use for and within an hour I abandoned "Trello" and converted a project I am working on (game dev) to use Reminders. Using a native app on my Mac, iPhone and iPad is much easier (and free) then using a 3rd party solution. After some quick testing it works really well as a Trello replacement (for my needs)... Thanks for the great video!
Always excited to see your videos. Always have a tidbit that makes the iOS experience better.
It’s really a pleasure to watch your videos. I think I’ve never seen someone explaining the features of an app in such a calm and professional way. Keep it up!
Apple should make the options clearer. This app is not straight forward. Many people only use it for ‘quick’ to do list.

Other competitors in the task manager spaces are only more complex. When you have all those functions, UI just cannot get that simple. Todoist and other apps all require some time to learn how to use them.

@@princediesel1 people don't HAVE TO anything. If Apple want their overpriced, under-supported product to remain a market leader, it might be helpful for them to embrace a little more transparency

It would take too much time and effort for Apple to go in depth when most people only utilize a tiny percent of the iPhone’s capabilities. Those who really want to learn, will.
Incredible! I already use reminders to get things out of my head, these new ideas are amazing!
Brilliant! Thank you. Just going to add this video to Reminders so I can watch it again!
Is there a way to make reminders show up in calendar? I often reference my calendar app and being able to see my reminders on my calendar would be great. I feel that this should be a feature created forever ago, but I haven’t seen it if it is.

I haven’t found a way with the Apple Calendar. If you use Fantastical you can have your reminders on the calendar. In addition, I use Microsoft ToDo and it syncs with reminders and Fantastical.

they don't have a way to have a calendar event linked to reminders, but if your drag and drop a reminder into your calendar you can make an event prepopulated with the info in the reminder. If you change the reminder, it wont update the calendar event, but if you are usinging it for time blocking or for a couple important reminders you want on your calendar, it works fine
Your video is so great sir, simple and minimal editing but focus and easy to watch ❤
Great video. I’ve always used Reminders but definitely learned some new things. You also do a great job presenting the material for absorption.
Something you missed! You can drag reminders right into the Calendar app. It's a little limited though as it does not "link" the reminder to the event, but rather it just creates a new event. Still helpful for getting a visual of what will be happening through your day. The way I use it: 1. Write out any and all tasks throughout the day. 2. Sort tasks into Important/Urgent (Eisenhower) Matrix "Sections". 3. Drag most important tasks into Calendar for the beginning of the day (when we typically have the most energy). 4. Extend event to estimated length. 5. Do the same for fun/less important tasks for last half of the day.
Very clear presentation as always, thanks!
clear. concise. useful. no more words for describe this lesson. Amazing, man.
Loved this! Thanks for sharing.
I think it's the first video of this kind that is ACTUALLY useful. Thanks
Really informative, thank you! I have been thinking that I would need to pay for a third-party app to do this kind of stuff, but it looks like Reminders will do everything I need it to do and for free! I have ADHD and always find your videos really clear and easy to follow. Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you! Great help 🎉
I have learnt so much about my iPhone/iPad/Mac from you. Thank you so much. The capabilities of them all is amazing. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Another great video. Thanks.
This is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much!
Wow. Clarity, warmth, useful content. Thank you so much from Sydney, Australia. You have a great gift for teaching in this way!
Love this video! Many nice tips that I will apply for sure! Thanks!
That was a fantastic video!!! Tysm 😊
Very useful, thanks!
Another impeccably well done video. Thanks so much. Merry Christmas!
Great video. Thanks! I have never used reminders before and this video has been very informative and helpful.
Your videos are great: to the point without too much verbiage, and always show great examples. My favorite part of Reminders is setting a "location" to a list or items; and when I arrive at that location it pops up on my SmartWatch and iPhone. I buy specific items at specific stores so adding a location allows the list to pop up when I arrive at the location. Grocery shopping and marking off the list is so convenient. I even ask Siri to help but gets a lot of stares from others. And if I need a reminder at work, add the location and date and when I arrive on Monday, it pops up and am reminded. Same for medical questions: pops up on my watch so I don't forget to access the list!
Very useful info in this video! I have been using Notes and Reminders but this tutorial gave me many more ways to use Reminders more effectively! Thanks so much! You always give very clear and concise instructions that are easy to follow. However, I will save this video to watch again to be able to grasp all that you shared. As a Senior adult, it takes me a few times of watching the tutorials on my iPad while doing the steps on my iphone before I get the “hang” of the Tip! Thanks again! I am glad I found your channel!❤😊
Thank you for this. It was very helpful.
wow simply amazing and mind blowing
Awesome video. Thank you for creating this.
Ridiculously helpful video. Thank you for creating it!
Very informative video. Keep it up 👍🏻
Thank you for your hard work!
Excellent video! This was so helpful.
That was deep. Thanks!
Your clear pronunciation with chirp voice along with wonderful content lures me to every new video you produce. Keep growing buddy. 👍
Good video👍🏻. Linking various Apple native apps or 3rd party apps on both iOS & Mac OS is a rare topic on KZread. Please do more of such linking apps videos as & when newer OS versions release. Thank you.
Really enjoyed this!
Thanks for the tips. It was very helpful.
Lovely work - great production values + valuable content. Thanks!
Another really great Video, thank you!
Great job man! Just came back to my reminder app, thanks
Thank you very much for this fantastic content. I appreciate you.
Thank you! I never knew reminders could do all of this!!
This is a GREAT video! Love all of these tips! ❤
Very helpful. Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you
Def need a persistent reminder on that does not go away on the screen or stays in the notifications or it will continue to alert you every 5 minutes like snooze almost.
This is really super helpful, premium content. Thanks so much!
Mind blown. I love this app already and I’ve learned so many new things from this video. Thank you!
Very helpful and informative video !
Outstanding tips!
Really informative video! Thank you for it. And as for the column view this seems to act more like a trello board. 🤔. Pretty useful!
Great information… this takes Reminders to the next level. ☮️&💛
Thanks, really helpful as are all your videos
superb video. tyvm
So many great ideas here! I already considered myself a super-user for Reminders, but I’m excited to dive back in after updating to iOS 17… so much to organize! 😆
Wish they'd push Alexa integration, it's so jarring having multiple reminder apps. Great tutorial n tips as always fella👍Thanks for the wisdom
Great video sir. Happy Christmas!
These are the best tips re the Reminders app I’ve seen, thank you!
This video is excellent! Appreciate it!👍
This was an amazingly informative video
Thank you so much!!🎉
I had no idea, thanks so much.
Great video - used your share -> reminders tip while I was watching the video to remind me to tell share your video with someone later today😊😊
Great video as always.
Thank you! 🎉
Very useful and mind blowing
Excellent video… I had no idea about all these functions…… I’m going to try it out and possibly change over 👍
Love the integration tips. Thanks!!
Thanks! U’re a great teacher! :)
Thank you!
Surprised how many useful things there were. Great video!
Brilliant video 👏
This sort of thing is where the iphone really excels. The interoperability between apps. Good video. Thanks.
Thank you 🙏🏾
Thanks!
I love the Tags feature
Great video and breakdown of all the features! I've been doing a lot in Things 3, and haven't thought of a way to mimic Quick Capture for Reminders, but I do like how Apple built in the Kanban style into lists too now if you want. Will be curious to see what their alleged AI updates bring about this summer for Reminders, Notes, Mail, etc!
Hey mate, great job with this video. Probably one of your strongest videos. Reminders is an app that I know exists but I do not use it enough. This video serves as a "reminder" to use the feature more and more.
incredible... kudos to Apple and you for eye-opening video.
Please share which iPhone and IOS this is compatible with. Thanks.
14?! so modest that was like 153! lol thx a ton!
Thank you
Great video! Compelling reasons to switch, however, the only key feature missing (or seems missing to me) is calendar blocking. Without this, its preventing me from moving from using google tasks. Is there a workaround to enable this?
Very informative, I’m going to give this app another go instead of just quick reminder here and there
I've been an Android user for over 10 years. Thanks in part to your excellent videos, I'm planning on upgrading to iPhone when the 16 comes out! Thank you for the informative vids.
Best channel for tips and tricks on IOS !!!! I learned so much here ❤. Thanks you very much for this great video 😃 Cédric France
Really useful video. I LOVE the reminders app and really miss it if I switch to Android.
New subscriber, really informative. I use reminders for basic to dos, but I never knew you could do all this. Can you do an apple notes video?
Very good video
Cool stuff! I will (once again) give Reminders another shot. I have tried going back to Reminders from time to time over the years and I always find it lacking. He didn't mention if you can attach a photo to a reminder. Anyone know if you can?
