Yeah I got the “Remette wild species” the all silver and the lightning Timascus and they are the best knives I could ever own!!!! They cost around 200$ but the mechanics are outa this world!

I was hoping you would disassemble so we could see how the inserts and the liners are done. Are the liners full or partial? Also, what’s the actual blade length? Amazon listing says 7.5 cm (3 inches), 3.95 inches, and if you subtract the handle length of 4.33” from the 7.8” OAL, it’s more like 3.5 inches. Three blade lengths in one listing.

I was looking at the CJRB Ekko titanium or Perfect Pyrite both with S90V but this is tempting for less money. I'm not very experienced yet so I'm curious if anyone else has some thoughts between these knives. I know this is pretty different in size, weight, and style but I could go either way, although I'm probably still leaning towards one of the CJRB knives but I don't really understand which has the better blade/steel between these and the M390 or S90V. I have heard a few times now that M390 seems to be a tricky steel for manufactures to get the heat treatment correct, and I've also heard that manufactures across the board are all seemingly doing much better with S90V. I need to do more research but I'd love to hear from anyone with more experience on this.

Like the design but not a fan of that color scheme.
