Here in Northern Ireland we will always be eternally grateful for all PB did for our riders and road racing in particular. It wouldn’t have been an event without him and his team. God bless the man.

@@ononewheellad Absolutely 👍.
I'm 55. Just remember everyone that life is/can be short...
Nice words Shakey, thank you
Touching tribute Shakey. Could always see the emotion between you two after every race. Dream team. RIP Birdy.
I didn't know the guy or ever met him but undeniably he has left a fantastic legacy with British road racing.. RIP..... 🏁🏁🏁🏁
Was a cadwell bsb then heard this sad news ,dont know much about Birdy but he was a massive contributor to bike racing and for that I'm eternally grateful ,thank you mate
Great tribute Shane . Followed your career with him. He has left a Great legacy for the sport . Condolences to his family. and yourself .
Fantastic tribute Shane, these people leave us and leave such a huge impact on the world. A lot of people just waste their lives, moaning and never achieving anything. Situations like Paul Bird are so very very sad. As you said Shane, Paul had so much to offer and put into the world but you and many many others were totally robbed of this amazing guy at a ridiculously young age. Racing is so very difficult and hard to get into be it running a team or a racer,Paul's achievements were absolutely incredible and would have gone on and on.....surely. My heart goes out to his family, this must have come as an horrendous shock. Once again Shane, fantastic tribute, so very sorry for your loss and all his family and friends, i didn't get to ever meet him but i have a few friends that did. R.I.P Paul, you've more than earnt it absolutely no question. 👌.
Lovely tribute Shane,thank you.
I spoke to Paul at Knockhill this year what a guy! Put his money where his mouth is and definitely did not suffer fools. Brilliant tribute Shakey, RIP Birdy. 😰
Sweet that. The gigantic contribution from pbm over the years is massive, helped so many riders. Gonna be missed, thanks for the fun rides Mr Paul Bird. Rip.
The opportunity’s Paul gave to upcoming riders was amazing and achieved so much. Will be remembered forever and missed dearly.
Lovely Tribute Shane.... RIP Paul a true legend
Had a brief chat with Paul at Brands a few years ago, he was happy to chat even tho I was a guest of Tyco. A huge character and a vast gap left in the BSB paddock now. The word legend is all too often used these days, but I think it can be appropriately used in this instance. RIP and condolences to his friends and family.
Great words from his most successful rider.
Nicely put, Shane. I remember him taking an interest in what Ryan V was doing in Superstock 600. Underrated, what he did for the sport
Top man rest in peace fella and his family
R.I.P. Birdy, you were a credit to motorsport
Grande Paul rimarrai nella storia del motociclismo

Briliant tribute, I remember BSB commentary recalling how Paul Bird had told Kiyonari that he'd have to find Kiyo a "Big fat Northern lass" to help him settle into the UK when he was here 😂😂 RIP Paul, one thing with getting older is seeing those familiar faces slowly fade away, thanks for the memories PB 👍
He gave so much to motorcycle racing such a big sad loss RIP
Shocked to see. Had no idea we had lost him. RIP
Nice one, Shane.
RIP Paul.
Top bloke will be sorely missed
Cheers Shane 👍

Well done Shaky. Say no more. 👍
Nice tribute 👌
At alton park I stood gawping as Paul’s helicopter was landing, a small crowd gathered but as they realised it wasn’t a star rider they dispersed, Paul looked me straight in the eye laughed and gave me the thumbs up.proper petrol head, will be missed massively 😔🙏
Lovely tribute I’m not sure where the future Paul Birds are going to come from rightly or wrongly most teams are business first now. RIP Birdy

Nobody is perfect and it’s often some challenges and adversities that deliver the most successful people , Paul was an achiever ! remember that Paul did a lot more good than bad , very few have contributed so much to so many in motosport , the world of racing is a poorer place without him , RIP Birdman a real Northerner, A real petrolhead .
A massive lost to the sport rip big birdie
