I met Ron a few times through a work connection. My boss told him I was a Leafs fan so he came back the next day with a signed picture in a frame for me. Then he heard I was talking my kids to HHOF so he made another trip to bring me tickets. He was just a wonderful, thoughtful man.

He wore # 11 1st, then switched to #8 ! Check it out. Ace Bailey did ask Ron Ellis to wear his number 6 because of his play! Best season 35 goal! For a two-way player, score 20 goals goals . I believe that Britt Selby won the Rookie of year , Ron Ellis was a close seconds!!! Came out of retirement to play on the team that beat the Islanders, scored the winning goal beating the Islanders 2 - 0 on long Islanding

Angelo Mosca made more money in 2 years wrestling than he made playing football in the CFL

Soon there won't be any living Leafs who know what a Stanley Cup ring feels like. RIP Ron, hopefully you will always be a part of the last Leafs Cup winners.
