I’m so glad I found your channel 💗 my son has CF, he’s 19 months old now. He had a sweat test that was a 26 then it jumped up to a 41 last time we did it. Thankfully he has zero symptoms atm 🙏🏼 We are at the very beginning of this journey. So we are still learning and watching vlogs like yours is helping me understand it better. Thank you for what your doing! You guys are such a delight ☺️

@@TheHawkinsNest - i def recommend watching all the Frey Life videos! I’m an NICU nurse and when I’ve had a baby diagnosed with CF, I recommend that they follow The Frey Life as they will learn so much more from them than myself and the docs!

Dear Freys, I totally relate to the "little things" in life. A day when I can take a bath or shower is such a gift. A day when I can take the trash bag out is such a gift. When I can sit upright and watch a television show is such a gift.

I still remember, I think you were in Chicago and said "We just walked a little bit, like a few blocks" like it was nothing. My heart hurts for the last 10% considering how long drugs take to develop, I'm praying their help doesn't take too long.

Several years back, I was struggling with strength and balance and falling a lot and feeling depressed. I gradually began to walk in my neighborhood on a regular basis and it has helped me so much to get stronger mentally and physically. I give thanks and remember on a daily basis how much better I am doing.

My cat had the same autoimmune issue as Harry. She had her teeth pulled. She did good. But every now and them her mouth would get inflamed we would treat it. Finally a couple of years ago her mouth got bad again found out she had cancer in her mouth. Make sure that Harry has lots of follow up for the disease. You are great pet parents just wanted to have you ge on the lookout for complications. Good luck sweet Harry.

Mary you are a kind young lady I am glad you are a blast and not a coughing as much with your Cystic fibrosis I am so happy for you and you really are a blessing to those who have not got the medicine that you have received however you do know that God bless you with everything in your life even the fact that you are not coughing and that you are able to do things that some people would take for granite that don’t have cystic fibrosis I think that you are a credit to all these people who need your help my nephew included he lives here in Canada to thank you young lady for being the young girl that you are and continue to work continue to fight the fight continue to help others along the way what you say it’s going to help other people get through the dark times in their life with cystic fibrosis someday they’ll be a cure for anything hopefully as too wouldn’t that be great

Right now I'm at my sickest and Iam struggling but. I'm grateful for being here just to enjoy the little things. I appreciate sentiments and sympathy that makes me feel better. Thank you Mary for understanding. I'm hoping that your migraines will improve and I give a little prayer for you at night before I go to bed. Leah Cook , it’s great news that you have been on Botox for 20 years which has help relieve your migraines. Thanks for sharing your testimony experience with me. Now I know I’m not alone with migraines and having Botox injection every three months.

My cats lived when we made the bed. One of them also loved when we cleaned the house too! Love them to pieces. ❤️

What I most remember about pre-Trikafta are all the long hospitalizations.

I'm watching the vlog now. The tree is getting so many blooms. It's exciting.

I get my cat’s Prozac from Covetrus and they always send us a new toy every month! It’s so sweet! I have some stocking stuffers built up for her thanks to them!

Our kitties do the same thing! We call it "playing covers" and it is a MUST when we change the sheets.

Hi, I suffer from chronic migraines since a Petraeus apex abscess last year and I have been on candesartan for a few months and it's made a difference to me. I hope you find something that helps because it's horrendous but you do amazing. Much love and best wishes from the UK xxx

I now cough everytime I laugh or exert myself (I don’t have CF, but other chronic issues), and I remember when I could laugh my brains out without coughing... it really is sobering, and a remembrance to enjoy every single thing.

I get bad tension headaches because I'm pretty sure from having sat at a desk for 14 years and not knowing or thinking that i had to stretch. Lol Mary tossing the boxes

wishing you all the best on your new migraine medication journey. I was on that medication before which did not help relieve my migraines. I am now on Botox every three months and two other medications. Hope you feel well and get better soon Mary.

I am on Botox as well ,it's the only thing that has given me any relief from daily migraines for over 20 years.

Flowers need roots to grow to take in the water and nutrients so ovbiously once you have picked the flowers you can't just put it in water and expect it to bloom. Lovin that teamwork in the working room btw

i’m on amitriptyline for a brain injury to help and it’s helped my headaches MASSIVELY. i have side effects such as no appetite ever, and horrible muscle twitching that’s constant. it was my choice to continue or try something new. but i haven’t had a headache (a severe one) in over THREE MONTHS!!! i will take the twitching and no hunger over the horrible headaches any day! you get some and give some i guess :)

Yes. Each day I can be up and have low pain, and do washes or dust or clean bathrooms, it is a gift!!! I do not take any of these things for granted anymore! Every day that has low pain is SO lovely! I know what you mean with your new drug. When i got PRP and nerve and prolotherapy injections from Caring Medical referral doctor, my whole world turned around. Praying God continues to give you relief with this new medication AND that you can find something to help you with your migraines! When i switched to 100% organic, my migraines stopped! Turns out I was allergic to additives.. ..

we are still waiting for trikafta to be available in Sweden :/ it is a long process... just a Reminder that it's not only the 10%, but still parts of the world that doesn't have access to the drug. It is all about money and that can make me angry and sad. So happy that it has worked for you Mary

I'm going to the heart doctor tomorrow and I'm really nervous. Smoking is really hard to give up!

I remember being told that I was accepted to be one of the first in australia to be able to try out trikafta, of course I was excited and nervous since I'd be waiting years for something like this, but long story short I ended up having a rare reaction I believe my doctor said so right now I'm not on trikafta as my doctor's are looking to see if combining two meds with reduce or get rid of my reaction. sooo fingers crossed🤞🤞😬

Have you had a consult with your Chiropractor about your headaches? I remember your neck issues a while back. I wonder if the headaches are caused by a nerve in your neck? That was my case.

Haley , that's an amazing drug. It's purpose is actually an antidepressant. My husband takes it at bedtime for restless leg syndrome.

Hi Mary just wanted you to know that I like you and that you and your husband do a wonderful job of your blogs and your videos wanted to tell you I have nephew was cystic fibrosis as well and he is close to his 30s now as far as I know he is doing well and is driving a truck out west here and Canada been thinking of you and really like what you did to your tree and your house for Christmas I think you know one of the ladies I know here in Canada she had a cousin who had cystic fibrosis and she had passed away a few years ago anyhow my friend lives in Toronto Ontario Canada and I am friends with her I remember once you sent her something in the mail pictures that you had made So take care of yourself take care of your migraines and your cystic fibrosis I’m proud of you for being the girl that you are and keep on doing what you do don’t let anyone defined you that your light shine everywhere for others I have a lot of disabilities myself and asthma so no fun right now with the virus in the world take care

This was the video where I had a bad feeling about your hibiscus being infested. There was that one leaf at the back turning yellow and crumpled for no reason, and dropping buds... It was just a hunch, but seeing how it looks now... Might not just be a lack of light. I hope you do check for thrips before you lose all the other lovely plants in your house. I hope I'm wrong. Better safe than sorry.

Ps. Please check all your new plants and keep them separated for a couple of weeks after you get them. It's heartbreaking to lose everything over one new addition. I've had it happen. People I know have had it happen to them before we knew any better. Especially if they're outdoor plants. :(

I can’t laugh very much because of my asthma it makes me cough so I understand how you feel but glad you are able to not cough when you laugh did you ever see that movie Alex the life of a child you have to watch that it’s about a little girl that had cystic fibrosis she passed away in the early 80s and it’s a true story she is a cute little girl if you ever find it gold or KZread or someplace like that and type it in and you might be able to watch it

When you have a permanent birth defect your back goes sooner rather than later. My scoliosis makes me feel like I'm at least 10 years older than I actually am.
