When I was a kid, they would show Fist of Fury and Chinese Connection as a double feature. The theatre was packed. I'm sure lots went back to see it 3 or 4 times.

Thanks again for sharing. I am really into China and read a great deal about their history, thinkers (孔子,老子),Generals (孙武, 岳飞),Poets (苏东坡,李白), Statesmen/strategist (诸葛亮,刘伯温)and learned some Mandarin. I appreciate China's long heritage and contribution to the world. And it all started with one man called Bruce Lee (李小龙). He opened that door for me a non-Chinese to look into these things. If not for Mr Li, will probably just see China as a country that manufacture lots of things and whose people run lots of restaurants in the west. He is a legend and thanks for sharing the video.

I'm so glad Andre confirms the "Yes, the Kung Fu series was meant for Bruce, but he was Asian, so they were like fuck that" story. And let's not forget it was straight-up STOLEN from his idea for a show called The Warrior, to which the decades-long Warner Bros line has always been: Oh, no, we just happened to be working on ANOTHER Shaolin monk wandering the Old West concept-THAT’S the one we didn’t want an Asian guy for, lol. Oh, and the talk about him being a down to earth, unpretentious person who conducted himself as an equal to the people on top and treated as equals the people below him was very nice to hear. There's an interview with an Enter the Dragon stuntman who talks about the mad respect and loyalty the stunt crew had for the man, and how the plan was to follow him back to America to make movies. Hmmm...how much you wanna bet that invitation included people in every facet of the Hong Kong film industry? I am 99.9% sure the Little Dragon was waiting for Enter to blow up big time, at which point he’d have hijacked all the talent for a new company that would've overshadowed both Golden Harvest and Shaw Bros combined. I don't for a second believe he was murdered, but if he was, the person with the most to gain from it would've been Raymond Chow 'cause Bruce woulda kicked his ass to the studio curb once he had leverage to call the shots, WA-TAAAH!

Watching Bruce Lee on a tv screen is not as watching it on a cinema or bioscope.

You need to either ditch the music or turn it way down so people can focus on what is being said!

it was like he seemed very understandable about Asians ,and about those discrimination toward Asians. though didn't look like he really understood at all, or felt for them. He just really wanted to make a huge difference between the white and the colored (Chinese on the film) ,or if not ,wouldn' t have been constantly saying the word Chinese so many times!.,that is what I reckon. and myself not being Chinese.
