Zakir Bhai and all the maestros my Sadar Pranaam on the Barsi of Abbba Ji Tears of joy have been flowing my eyes to see world class musicians all of u perform live paying homage and rendering love to your guru which speaks louder than words Abbaji as righteously said by you zakir bhai was an improviser a living legend He was a true guru and never taught the conventional way and copy cat way and always asked to create your own style without notes There is no doubt about the fact that abbaji dwells In your hearts and todays performance was magical would be an understatement but the fact that you have been together as students all these years and get together and remember u roots your guru is the true gift and culture of patiala Gharana depecting in your hearts and you all are carrying forward the legacy of your guru forward This is a show case to the world of classical music Zakir bhai To see u in person is always magical and I have have had oppurtunity many times to see u perform way back in 1993 in Queens park in Harsh Neotia House wherin the performances were done yesr after yesr and u were performing w pravina sultana ji As a young ear to classical music I was fortunate to have grown my ears listening and embibing this knowledge and growing with it I am a student of Pd Binay Chandra Maudgalya Ji popularly known as Bhaiji and have been blessed with Hindustani Clasical vocal music since age of 10 years in gandharva Maha vidlaya delhi Wish someday will have the opportunity to sing and u play the table Imm currently in kolkata and learning classical vocal music and enjoying the journey Have opened a company Musical Parinde wherin i have sung with different artists across diff genres of music and my daughter anusha has also sung some western classics like falling in love and yellow Some day would like to connect with all of you and god bless u and all of y and abbaji soul which is alive in all of u as music never dies Anirudh Jhajharia Kolkata Email : Musicalparinde1@gmail.con Email : flytonasa@gmail.com Voice : 0091-98311-49772 Voice : 0091- 75969-98053 Would love to connect with you Love and Sadar Pranaaam

गुरुजी mai apko pichle 5 saalo se apko apna guru mann kr tabla sadhna kr rha hu. Mai aise benaras gharana ka hu par apke side bohot jhukav hai mera mai agar sama hav hua to apko guru mamta hu hi pr apse vigat diksha bhi lunga guru shishya parampara main

It is unfortunate that (to my ears) many of the dayans (and the Djembe) were not in tune with the sarangi (which was otherwise superb), or are my ears out of tune?
