I remember them saying they wanted to have him sound like a used car salesman, he was street smart while Wanda was book smart, during a lot of season 1 that’s the cosmo we got, but during production of the show they wanted cosmo to be less smart, but this voice wasn’t good for that

Sophisticated isn't the right word. He sounds a little sleazy, like a used car salesman or a crooked lawyer.

I miss this version of them Timmy the kind -hearted but average kid, Wanda the cheerful godmother, Cosmo the Charming godfather and Vicky the somewhat neutral selfish teenager.

maybe someone already said this theory but watching all these parts, this is pre-eternal time stop wish episodes, then something happened along the way that Timmy realized and asked Cosmo to do the wish. Then Timmy made him wish he forgot he made that wish and when he did that, it messed with his head and we have the Cosmo we had in the series. But since he did sounded smart and responsible the process could have went Timmy made Cosmo dumb "for a game" > made the eternal 10 year old wish > "made Cosmo forget his this wish" > kept him dumb. IDK just pulling it out there

actually,I've always thought cosmo was secretly smart,cause I've always said oh hey there's one of cosmo's extremely rare smart moments everytime I watch an episode XD but I do kinda remember the pilot episodes though,I was really little though but I do remember some of these

Fairly Odd Parents started off as a group of shorts on Nickelodeon back in the 90’s. These shorts aired before Season 1 and were usually 7 minutes long.

His voice was better sounding too.

I hope this is what they are actually used for the reboot that's coming out. Or if it's coming out. Kind of shows on how much the characters have aged over timeor maybe making something more similar to that premise, instead of everything just being incredibly loud, for the sake of being loud, have a level headed child who knows what they're doing

I really don’t have any idea why they change the series and characters for the worst. The first season of fairly odd parents even by today still has pretty entertaining Storylines, and really great jokes that’s executed perfectly. The series progress into a much more obnoxious territory. Cosmo goes from being fairly confident to overly high-pitched an overly stupid to the point where you feel dumb watching it.

I never saw these before. And I was watching this show before any of the movies came out

There was an episode that included 3 of the pilot episodes but redubbed with Tara Strong as Timmy. I forgot which season it’s from though

This reminds me how in Invader Zim the Tallest, Red and Purple, were pretty much the same character early on. Then Red became the angry one and Purple became the stupid one.

Seriously. The ferry odd parents made a giant turn when they were adding plot to the story of Timmy. Like holy shit the plot goes all over the place it's crazy. Then they keep adding colorful characters. To move the plot? Along it's it's it's bongers.😂😂😂

What did they do to Cosmo in later seasons!? He was such a great character.

Why couldn't they keep Cosmo, Wanda, Timmy, Mr. & Mrs. Turner like this in he series?
