Remember the Alamo's, Tunnels? 1909 Article Blew a Texan's Mind!

Фильм және анимация

This article was such a shocker for me being a Texan! I definitely knew that a lot of the major cities and even towns have extensive tunnels that go from city to city. I've got quite a bit more articles on other cities tunnels. Would you want to hear more?
Any comments would greatly be appreciated! Id like to engage with everyone more. Much love yall

the Alamo is ancient is correct. I was studying old sketches of the Alamo and came across one that shows the Alamo with not 4 columns in the front but 4 stone? goddesses there instead. It looked just like the Erechtheion in Greece. It was repurposed as a mission only fairly recently in our past.

When I was searching for pictures there are so many that are manipulated! White washed sky’s and blurry. Thanks for the comment!

Texans don’t pronounce anything right. Right or wrong it’s still fun to say lol. I appreciate the motivation!

So, you know those public photography 1st amendment audit guys? A bunch have gone to the Alamo in probably dozens of videos. Out of all government properties in the US, the officials seem to particularly lose their minds to a very extreme level when they see cameras at the Alamo. Just a little info for y'all. You will be surrounded by security and law enforcement very fast if you go there and try it. No freedom of press when visiting this special building with non constitutional rules. This video is great, thanks.

I have heard the exact same thing! I travel to San Antonio often and although much has been destroyed and built over there’s still a feeling of great antiquity. I’m so curious as to the many secrets within the Alamo and its missions. I guarantee this tunnel goes much farther. Thanks for the input!

@@LuminaryLighthouse Cheers. I got to go into the oldest mission in California, allegedly, which is the Three Sticks Wine Company tasting facility. It sure was amazing but I didn't get to explore or tour much of it. A rich guy i know invited me. It made me imagine that most early missions and other early places are hidden behind rich people walls. For a long time now. It's not cheap to join the three sticks club for access. Not at all. But anyone can join with payment.

@@LuminaryLighthouse I butchered them all too until someone taught ME. I'll never forget pronouncing "Phoenix" like: "FO NIX", until I read it aloud in 7th grade and got laughed at. I was happy to be corrected by the teacher until I was reading aloud about the American Indians, and called the Navajo the NAVA JOES! That was a HOOT!
