Intentional Torts: These are actions that are deliberately undertaken to cause harm to another person or their property. Examples include assault, battery, and defamation.
Strict Liability Torts: In certain situations, individuals or entities may be held liable for harm caused by their actions regardless of fault or intent. Examples include liability for harm caused by dangerous animals or defective products.
Damages: If the plaintiff successfully proves their case in a tort action, they may be entitled to receive damages as compensation for their losses. Damages can include compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and property damage.
Tort law varies between jurisdictions, with different countries and regions having their own statutes, case law, and legal principles governing civil wrongs and liabilities.
