Spears and bows were the dominant tools of war for at least 5,000 years of human history. We went from flintlock muskets, which we all know were used mainly as a spear with a secondary ability to fire a lead ball, to supersonic jets and intercontinental missiles in barely a century.

Damn, I realy wish the war would end, just check what has been done when America and ussrs tried to beat each other trying to prove who's stronger, the flight to space and even to the moon, the jet designs of rusians that are out of this world, the electronics advencment of America, it sounds cool but only thing sad is what has been hepening.

End of the day, wars aren't fought by the political leaders who start them, or the generals who plan them, and not the armchair generals who sit around arguing about them. It's fought by the common person on each side, who don't really hate the each other (aside from the propaganda they've been forcefed, and yes, the west are guilty of this too) but love their family and the land they were born in. Me being from a small country far removed from the conflict, with 0 military experience, means my words don't have a lot of weight. But I sincerely hope that the war ends, for the death and violence to stop. Prayers for all 🙏.

When the Soviet Union dissolved, there were no powers that could reasonably compete economically, politically, or militarily with the US or EU-NATO blocs. China didn't become a Great Power until the mid-2010's, and India is still several years from that status. Of course, a four-way Cold War between the US-Pacific bloc, China, EU-NATO bloc, and India circa 2030 will be very, very interesting.

I wasn't born yet, but I still miss the 80's, it's a much more straight forward time. You know who the enemy was, there wasn't much infighting between Republicans and Democrats, and we had (sometimes *cough* Nixon *cough*) presidents then today
