I can't believe they made an update called ignition and removed the skill named ignition. There can only be one ignition apparently.

The Knights of Cygnus have always felt like the little brother(and sister) of the adventurers. And Nexon wants you to remember that.

I'm a BW main! I think the changes are pretty decent. My biggest gripes with BW pre 5th job was always bossing, and I think that this update fixes that a decent amount. The addition of a class bind is the biggest change imo. The rest of the class was already pretty good, I think it's just underplayed cause why juggle fireballs when you can play Adele who looks cooler.

Hi, I'm also a BW main, are we playing the same class? BW is incredibly underpowered and orbital flame is the worst skill to ever exist. This update did barely anything to fix it the skill itself (your main attacking skill for mobbing AND bossing) is ping reliant and doesn't even work most of the time with good ping. Not to mention they removed the only saving grace for bossing (animation canceling) a while ago. Bad class, I love it but it's baaaaad.

@@petrinax2944 I guess I"ve just never had any problem with orbital flame. I'm also 99% sure that it isn't ping reliant anymore based off of what I've read from the BW discord, but I could be mistaken. This could be priveledge though cause I don't have any ping issues and have never noticed any delays with spellcasts.

@@chesetr7620 with 200ms ping I can confirm the skill isn't ping reliant anymore, compared to previous experiences I had of this class. I'm convinced that person doesn't actually play BW or is basing it off of a private server where they're actually playing from.

I was looking for another main. I took a break from the game for 8 months or so and I came back to flash fire not being able to animation cancel anything anymore. Do you have any idea if this is a bug or intended? It feels much clunkier to mob rn

@@chasebank8019 they removed it sadly. I think they said that the animation cancel was not intended.

The BW change is way better than you make it sound like. One nice thing about the new bossing mode for the orbs is that you no longer have the issue of missing many of the returning hits due to a boss moving around (like lucid 2nd phase) or just teleporting away. And you cannot shoot out an orb if there are 4 orbs present at any time, meaning if you move away from the direction you shot the orbs you'll have to wait for one to return to attack again. Boss mode completely fixes that. Also, looking at it now but not positive, it seems that the increase in size of the orbs can fix the issue of for example not being able to hit mobs like hilla who do a tiny move that lifts them too much off the ground that your balls can't hit them anymore.

Coppersan can you please confirm if the teleport skill is fixed? Currently at least on NA servers it doesn’t animation cancel your other abilities like it used to do. (Extremely evident when casting 160 hyper cataclysm) It’s lead to the class feeling much much clunkier than I’m used to, which sucks because it’s my main ;-;

Oh wow the fact that you have some kind of mp eater with this class is a masive improvement already, thank god.

I've been using the transperantcy slider for the remastered explorers so I can at least see the game. Don't think that will change with the other remasters

As someone who has mained Mihile in the past, I am most excited about his remaster.

Well I actually enjoy playing BW the way it is now, so any improvements are welcomed. The only change I really want though is for flash fire to animation cancel again.

I think the blaze wizard is solid actually. It deals ok to good damage, it has easy rotations, it mobs quite well once you know what you are doing, has ok support skills. I like the class a lot.

I think balance adjustments aren't coming till August. They said they wanted to wait to do damage adjustments since explorer's remaster adjustments created such a drastic shift. We should see the numbers and lines get changed soon.

Well even though Blaze Wizard is still at the bottom of damage charts apparently Nexon think it's broken and didn't give it anything while buffing many other classes

I was going to hyper burn this job in GMS but idk now

Gotta agree with you as the Blaze Wizard did get a slight improvement but not compared to the Ice Wizard class!

with this little changes considered as "remastered", if the next in line is resistance, i might just make BaM every passive, level 10 stff wack upgrade per job advancement, and make all 5th job and hyper passive, so BaM can be the literally god of 1 skill + teleport

Flame Jester sounds more appropriate for this class name

How is BW survivability when bossing?

I think Nexon should improve more on Cygnus Knight (Blaze Wizard and Wind Breaker). I hope Nexon reconsiders this and changes a few skills and makes it more fun on Blaze Wizard and Wind Breaker.

They should make the new hyper in a way where we can achieve 100% uptime through buff duration.

Im new to maple, I trained my Hero to lvl 94. But I do for some reason only + / - 15k damage. When I want to try killing Zakum, I only do 350 damage... I improved all of my skills and stats. What am I doing wrong?

You are probably in the reboot server. The monster level difference penalty is a lot higher in this server. You should deal normal damage against zakum at level 100. Try to stick to monsters around 5 levels higher than you (or up to 10 levels lower)

I love BW, it's one of my most used class.

I feel like blaze wizard has so much potential. Like this whole ball juggling thing isn't as cool as what an f/p wizars could. Plus it's got burn feature too no? so it's basically a less cool than poison

It's subjective. I think juggling fireballs is way cooler than F/P mages, just of a matter of Nexon representing how cool it could be instead of what we have now

Meh. Nexon is so bent on here’s 30s window of feeling amazing. Have fun the rest of the cooldown being ass until you can burst another 30s. Just like marksmans split shot. It could feel so amazing

The point of remastering characters as Nexon has said right off the bat is only for characters to catch up with the new characters flashy skill effects. It is NOT a REWORK so little qol changes makes sense.

the way they return makes it shit for grinding because it's so narrow if you choose to have them fly upward. Literally provides no benefit over just teleporting up to the platform and using it horizontally

I'm actually a bit disappointed here. I think mobbing pre 5th job needed some more damage and range from the orbs. I won't say about bossing, since I never got the class strong enough, but I don't like having the orbs not returning, as it is one of the personality traits, let's say. I'm a bit stumped with this class, since I really loved how it played in ems when cks got the revamp that brought their level cap from 120 to 200. It felt so so good mobbing back then, but now it feels so much weaker... and I don't like how the new orbs look, too yellow, too bright, not very blazing.

its anoying when he spam the fireball in bossing for a while, he cant shoot it anymore for a few sec. what else i supposed to do? hit with normal attack? especially since we need to hold down the fireball for 1 sec bfore he start to shoot fast like a gattling gun starting up and we can neither move nor use potion or else he will stop and need to repeat the starting of a gatting gun process. preparing 1sec after every action before able to do damage is stupid since the reward does not match with the risk like other burst class which make bossing an absolute nightmare.

what about the ping dependency?

Latency didn't look like a problem here.

TBH, imma kinda disappointing with the koc remaster, except sm have reasonable changes, other class still almost the same. Yet I still prefer old sm compare to cosmic SM :(

They still can't give up the juggling flame and change with others. Thus, it makes me feel sad. (Imo of course)

The fact the next remaster that is gonna happen for this is like 10 years later for this class is just so disrespectful that we got this crap

Mihile is actually more popular than BW if u check lv250+ since that’s where the game begins basically.. bw is pretty much the lowest popularity
