Just thought I’d put a list off the mods as we missed some out today and just wanted to show what the car is like........... so basically am running a Dc5 gearbox with Fidanza lightweight flywheel / Tegiwa 4-2-1 manifold with full Skunk2 system, 70mm Rbc inlet with Tb / Teg m intake and walbro 255 fuel pump and k100 by tdi north 255.7bhp + 179.8 lbtf and efi 254.4bhp + 177.4 lbtf................ running 28mm rear tegiwa ARB, with Jdm front ARB / M2 camber arms and bolts / Skunk2 control arms / tegiwa steering arms with rack raiser / yellowspeed coils / full polly bush front arms and rear arms and hubs with full civic cup set up / Mtec discs and brembo pads........so yeah I may have missed some bits out but the build off the car is on my Instagram 😀 thanks for all the love........hater can come race me 😝

Absolutely. The next crowd of people that will be lining up to get the new AMG A45 on Personal Lease, will be getting a car that is now where near as fun to drive as a 2018 Type R for example, on the road. Chasing numbers. Reducing weight and modest power gains the EP3 will culminate in a better drivers car imo. Keep going Jesse👍

NA is a thing of beauty, I’m gonna keep my ep3 garaged and pull it out in 15years and show the kids what they’re missing

The only stick they get is because they are riced out and obnoxious loud every time. Keep it looking stock, no bimbo stickers, no indian taxi colours, put a resonator to take the drone out a oem looking muffler that doesn't look like a bucket and you will see people react a LOT better to them and the values will go up. Happened in my corner of the world. Stock looking cars are 5k more expensive than riced ones, regardless of how much material they have.

That launch at 8:14 was probably the best I've ever seen someone do in a type r on KZread No banging off the limiter while spinning up and no banging off the limiter when changing gears 👌

Generally you need to hit limiter 3 or 4 time as they be spinning the wheels, this car has good tyres and dry road so it wasn't spinning;)

Stay n/a please Jesse! By all means do what makes YOU happy but Honda purists will appreciate it more. Yes a turbo will get you more power but all turbo Ep3 civics I’ve seen look undriveable most of the time. Alongside a map look into a few internal upgrades such as cams valves and pistons and see what sort of power you could be looking at then. I’m confident it would still be cheaper than a turbo kit. Fix the brakes first though mate. Peace ✌🏻

My EP3 did the popping and banging without a map, was the standard ECU... Just tap the accelerator quickly and you get decent flames out of it also with a full straight pipe from the manifold...

Great video, the skunk 2 mega power is by far the best sounding exhaust for the ep3. Definitely change front pads to PBS they are brilliant for Road and track use plus great when cold and hot.

Just remember that only mapping will not give you the same. DC5 gearbox is changing this car a lot! I know what I’m saying, I have similar one ;) I would recommend to start with short gearbox, bigger brakes like 330 mm and suspension. This changes the game completely :)

Try some PBS pads with whatever discs you want they are a bit dusty and a track pad but they stop well. Probably worth bleeding them too.

the thing is when you map these civics everyone says 'its only an extra 40bhp' but that extra 40bhp is seen throughout the full rev range not just top end, if you compare a mapped graph vs non mapped you can see how much power its buidling up a lot sooner so the low and mid range is so much better not just peak power. *edit* owner of the car also isnt blipping it no where near enough when he rev matches you can hear the engine breaking when he brings clutch back out

I'll have some 4 pot brembo callipers with 320mm mtec disc and ds2500 pads for sale in about a month

Fiesta ST is known as one as the best drivers cars. If you’re looking to build a track car, you can get some relatively cheap easy gains on the Fiesta ST that you can’t with the EP3. On a MK7 ST with exhaust, downpipe, big intercooler, intake map and a new turbo you’re looking at 350 ish bhp. Seriously quick car
