The reason for that is discussed in Harvard prof Steve Pinker's: The Better Angels of Our Nature. The unfortunate, often exploited people who've had Islam inflicted on them aren't "bad" people but the ideology itself is indeed stuck "in the middle ages". Another problem is that they do envy and crave the benefits of modern democracy yet many aren't prepared to accept, and may even feel superior to, the democratic host cultures they've freely chosen to settle within.

Muslims like to point to the many innovations that came from Muslim scholars centuries ago. This is true (i.e., Algebra, etc). That said, the Muslim world hasn't innovated anything in more than 500 years. It is a moral and intellectual black hole that has kept groups of people in prison for centuries. What amazes me is that anyone could consider that Allah was either moral or good. The Bible says that God's law is written on our hearts.I believe we call that a conscience. That these people could take such delight in doing evil is mind boggling.Whenever anything bad happens in the West you see them delighting in something like 9/11, rioting in the streets, laughing, burning our flag and passing out candy as they rejoice. If there is an earthquake or other natural disaster in their countries we send money, food, shelter, medical supplies, etc. because we have compassion. Allah is angry and cruel and so are his people.

i had a muslim family moved into my neighborhood a couple of years ago. and i remember all they did was have fights with almost everybody in the neighborhood. it was a peaceful place no more when they came. and when they eventually leave, it became a peaceful place again. i just recently learned that they only moved to my neighborhood because they have a decades-long war with another muslim clan in their town.

I've made the same points for more years than I can remember....they are simple facts! .... it is truth! The question we all should ask is WHY Islam can't be criticised? 'Praise Allah' for people like Douglas Murray with the integrity and courage to SPEAK TRUTH!

The Old Testament was not the religion of Christianity. The reason why Christ came and delivered his message was to FREE people from the old, constrictive laws of Judaism.

From the original video, afaik, the main Islamic debaters refused to debate against the african lady who fled Islam. If it is a religion of peace, and they are ambassadors for peace, why refuse to appear? And, if it is a religion of peace, why would she need to flee or to live in fear.
