Reliance Motor Services - An Operation Overview
Welcome to our first Operation Overview video, our new videos focusing into different bus operators in the North of England. In this video we take a look at long established operator Reliance Motor Services who connect rural villages in North Yorkshire with the heart of York City Centre. We speak to Chris Thompson, Operations Manager, as he talks us through the company, the fleet and routes. Aye, currently one of the last places with them too. I remember the First South Yorkshire ones, nice but were very rough near the end
Reliance is my favorite independent operator. Friendly drivers and their buses are very well looked after and smart.

They are a superb company could not agree more there!
brilliant video i bet the seat backs and Bottoms in Y445 CUB came out of also one 1 of there B7L's Reg X381 XON new as Demo bus in 2001 as Reg GCZ 9023 And Fleet Number 2023 was in service in northern Ireland with Ulsterbus the other B7L came from bus eireann in The Republic of Ireland

I believe you are right, they still look a lot nicer than the rather clapped out First seating did when the bus came out of traffic.
Very friendly team at Reliance.
An excellent production and hope for more of the type.

At some point can you please make more Operations Overviews for the Sheffield Companies like First South Yorkshire, Stagecoach In Yorkshire, TM Travel etc. You don’t have to do them yet. Just some suggestions.
