Timestamps for those new to Castlevania(somehow) 0:32 That npc is Richter Belmont, main character of Rondo of Blood and plays a supporting role in Symphony of the Night. 0:55 Weapons shown are Alucards'(Dracula's son) signature sword and shield , holy cross and the throwing axe. 1:15 Bosses which are Death, the servant of Dracula and Dracula himself. It's likely that the biomes are placed in the endgame where you have to hold a key given by Richter in order gain access , similar to Rise of the Giant.

I'm a really new player to Dead Cells, just picked it up a few weeks ago. 99% the reason I bought it was because of the Castlevania announcement - I'm starving for anything new Castelvania! I've also been watching a ton of your older videos, they've been SUPER helpful. Can't wait!

Glad you picked up deadcells! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun! Make sure you don't split your scrolls equally, but to invest into one color only, though I'd recommend getting an amulet (those necklaces thingies) that's off color at the start for big hp gains, then going for amulets on color for big power gains later on!

Holy shit they even made sure the walk into Dracula’s throne room is just like Castlevania ANDANDAND Dracula looks like he’s about to give you the “WHAT IS A MAN?!” speech when you reach him! As a CV and DC fan, this is absolutely everything. I cannot fucking WAIT to fight 5BC Drac and Death.

You know... When you said it took you two years to beat Dead Cells I laughed. I remember thinking "I'll do it in one. " It's done. 9 months. But when I looked at what I'd done... I realised that the only reason I got so far .. was because I stood on the shoulders of a Giant. Someone who distilled down the information I needed, and patiently reminded me of what to do. I'd be nothing without your help. Sometime in the future, I'd be delighted to repay the favour if you're ever wanting to do some lore for Dead Cells. Either way... I might have completed 5 BC... But you walked those paths so I could run. ....also I really enjoyed the quizzes on routing and your Let It Die video 😄

Didn't the quest to unlock the Queen DLC areas also start in the prisoners quarters?

Wait so is it only dropping on the switch in march or all consoles

i'm not as excited as i was after i learned some stuff from a guy that tested it. The biomes being scattered is weird, i think they should be connected and even better if they are the 2 final biomes. The monster are re-skins of existing monsters, so i feel like this DLC will be more expensive because of the Castlevania license.

@@axz_1526 the 2 new biomes are far from each other. So we will go to the first Castlevania biome, then the next biomes are not from Castlevania, then at some point we will go to the second Castlevania biome. Its just like the previous dlcs. But i think it would be better to be forced to go in the 2nd Castlevania biome right after the 1st one.

Hey, as long as I don't have to throw Holy Water on every square or hold a Red Crystal, crouch into a wall, and ride a tornado to another part of the level, or have to worry about a lengthy Game Over screen to reload the game, with load screens in between, I'll be all good.

Its most likely double the price because they have to share profits with whoever wons the rights to castlevania

I hit a wall as soon as I reached 3bc as well but after many many runs I got my 4th Cell and now 1-3bc seem so easy. Just a matter of experience I'm nowhere near the level of other players here in the comments but I mean my view is pretty realistic. You'll get there eventually

I don't think I will buy the dlc... the rise of the giant dlc costs 5 dollars and gives 2 bosses and 2 biomes, so is that extra boss worth 5 dollars? I think the should make the price 7 dollars instead of 10, plus I am not a fan of castlevania Edit: MINI BOSS
