I like this because he provides a lot of information that is not readily available with other reviews. For example, that the g50 comes with a cord (I couldn't find this info on any webpage selling the unit). He also provides some first hand information about playing with the unit. There are plenty of other videos out there with sound examples of people playing with the g50..

I think you could just use dual-stereo plug, would also be pretty easy to make, but I think they have those at sweetwater or GC. The G90 has an aux output for the tuner, don't know if you could use that to send the signal to another channel. Very cool unit, I actually walked out in the backyard to about 200 feet and then only "delay" was my distance from the amp, just the normal lag of sound covering the range from the transmitter/receiver. Perfect for those that like to move around on stage.

Got one of these, love it, amazing sound. Have used others in the past, and always end up going back to a good cable because of interference and general tone/frequency loss. This thing actually sounds more clear than my custom Mogami cable. The G50 is definitly worth the extra cash, the G30 was all plastic and the battery door doesn't completely close and latch. The only issue is the ILR/1/4 inch cable, flimsy. Get an exrra Shure as a backup, $24 at GC. Other than that, its perfect.

it can :) The transmitter is actually the same as for the G90, its the TBP12. About the review itself, for powering the receiver, careful.. it takes a standard boss plug, 9V, but this baby sucks 300 mA, so you better have a strong power supply, or else the receiver may reboot randomly, like underpowered digital effects.

@ pencap20, Hummm.... not sure about that. That might be a good question for Line 6. I would think it would work but not 100% sure since I did not test this.

@000remco000 Bass will sound as good as the original with no problems. You can even plug a wireless mic without a problem. You just need the right connection for it.

Can this unit be used with more than one guitar like the G90 rack version by buying another transmitter?? I have a couple of guitars and would like that feature rather that unplugging all of the time and plugging in to another guitar??? Thanks for the review its very complete and straight forward.

still confused on how to set it up if you had a couple chain pedals. i use a tuner and noise gate going to the amp. where does this plug into?

Just jot a brand new G50, I get nothing but dropouts. bummed, back to the store it goes!!

That's the length of time the charge lasts in HIS OWN rechargeable batteries. Nothing to do with Line 6 at all :L
