Wait so I think I'm thousands and miles from you, yet I'm actually right next to you? WHAT IS THIS MAGIC? I'm closer than I think. :O

12:19 probably one of my faves out of all osts. I can't describe it. It sounds like my childhood days, sitting on the sofa while my older brother is playing Zelda and just me peacefully observing. Me watching my siblings play video games are some of my earliest, happiest and safest feeling memories. And it also gives me the feeling that no matter how old I grow or however my life and home will change, I will always have a home. I literally don't get parents who say video games are bad for you. I have bonded through them with many people, I learned patience, endurance and problem solving skils and I have a place that feels like home through it.

Well said. All things come with two sides. Most parents see the bad side maybe just because they can not relate, maybe they didn't have that experience in their childhood. I do have similar memories that playing winning 11 with my younger brother. Good memories.

Did anyone else just breathe a sigh of relief listening to this? I just felt so relieved and comforted hearing the tune, like a weight had lifted off of my shoulders. It may look dark but the lightness makes it not so scary. Idk maybe its just me.

Trying to confront my emotions after my brother passed last year. This was one of our favorite games of all time. We had played Zelda since A Link to the Past. It's going to hurt more than ever listening to this but it hurts running away from it too. I miss him so much. I'm in so much pain. I hope in some other reality I have a chance to be with him again, playing video games, laughing together, and enjoying life.

Had this playing on my laptop when alone in my hospital room, due to pregnancy complications. Kept me calm during the most stressful and frightening time of my life. A tired midwife came in at 2am to check on bubs heart, saw the screen, smiled and said "Awh you two have got a little campfire going in here."

​@@bahvoyons1 thankyou for your concern dear, yes everything turned out ok in the end after a long stint in hospital. she came out premie emergency C section at 35 weeks. We both fought as hard as we could and as long as we could then it was the doctors and midwives who saved her life. I got to hold her for the first time on mother's Day last year. No mothers Day present will ever top that feeling. She just had her first birthday, a strong happy girl full of joy and laughter. Where did the time go? Have a nice day, the music's lovely isn't it?

Whenever I listen to this, I remember how me and my sister and I used to watch as our brother played zelda all day and all night. But I remember this one time specifically. He was flying link over a dragon, and I looked out of the window and saw a kite high up in the sky during sunset. I don't know why but it made me happy, the view was so beautiful too. Now he's in college, and I miss watching him play with no worries of anything. We are all struggling now and have tons of problems. I just wish beautiful days like these could have lasted a little longer,,

My sisters never let me play, but I still have many good memories of watching them play. Still I do resent them for not letting me get a head start on my gamer training 🤣lol.

Funny enough, I have this playing while sitting at a campfire. Threw on the last piece of wood for the night and started scrolling through the comments... They're so wholesome it makes me feel that much more relaxed... (especially since I also just had to chase down my cat and bring her inside)

Zelda has so many tracks that soothe the heart and mind. I think that my heaven might be reawakening in the land of Hyrule - there is always a princess to save - always evil to vanquish - a life to live with honor - a warm fire - a Grandmother still alive cooking at the kettle on the island - Kas playing his tune right around the bend - my dog will be there too, when he was young and agile. Totally and TOTK will make us discover new incredible music

Zelda really does hold a special place in my heart. Me and my older sibling started playing botw during mid quarantine, I remember getting up from the dining table, rushing to the living room, to find him playing. I’d joke around about the monsters, and just random things. I vividly remember when I had gotten out of class, went to the living room to find my brother just beginning to enter Zoras Domains. I remember laughing when my brother would freak out over Chu chus, but freaking out with him when the lizalfos came along. The music takes me back every time. He taught me to play pretty well, and we ended up finishing that save together. we later got skyward sword. I still haven’t finished it, but my brother has gotten pretty close, those memories make me so fuzzy inside, funny to think we didn’t realize we were making such fond memories, they feel so far away, but almost like they happened only weeks ago. We still love playing it and I can’t wait to play more. Wow that was a lot.

Kakariko Village from Twilight Princess is always one of my favorites. I get chills at the 2:16-2:22 because of the insert that is from The Dark World, from Link to the Past, very similar. I like how the music has it's own uniqueness but you can also hear parts of other songs with Zelda music. This song is just peaceful and nice.

Twilight Princess music is such a distinct vibe.

The crimson loftwing soundtrack takes up an enormous amount of space in my childhood. More so than I ever could have realized. The carefree feel and "lofty-ness" in the production make for such a great game.

I never realized the similar chord progression between 'Crimson Loftwing' and 'A Quiet Moment'. Both still beautiful and unique songs, great playlist

I love how so many of these comments are just very sweet and heartfelt. I remember playing the first Zelda on NES, and even though I sucked at it I remember enjoying it so much. Then about the time the first Switch came out I discovered BOTW and I fell in love with it. I have 500+ hours in it and I still haven't 100% it yet, since I always find myself just wandering and exploring the world even though I've probably seen it all by now. I'm happy Terrey Town is in here cause that was my favorite questline from Botw- I remember tearing up at the end of it

So much emotion for me to listen to these soundtracks. Zelda is the game that marked my childhood, my teenage years and my adult life. I have so many sweet memories of those games, it brings back so many good times and almost painful nostalgia. Some may not understand this feeling, but I'm so grateful that Zelda games exist and have brought so much magic and adventure into my life.

Twilight Princess has the best sound track

I'm very happy that I got introduced to the Zelda franchise when I was little & still loving the series to this very day! I love everything about it even the songs, from battling, scary, exciting, sad, mysterious & even relaxing. I love it all. ^^

Man the peace and serenity these songs bring makes it feel like no matter how dark and grim life can get, these remind you that there can and always be light. Your mind just needs to be in the right place and songs like these help bring you there. It definitely brings back memories too. The good ol' days

Idc what you're doing but you will go but botw right now and play it, you will then fall in love with it, wishing you never bought it just so you could experience the feeling of first playing it again. For real though it's a great game, personally it's the only game i can rate a 10/10, it really is good and I encourage you to try it

Hearing Zelda songs led me to watching gameplay and theories which got me into being a huge fan of the series before actually picking up the game

I've never really got into gaming, but if anything was gonna convert me it would be the soundtracks. Gaming tracks absolutely rock, I love listening to them while I read

I remember listening to this playlist one night when I was having a really hard time. It helped to put me to sleep as I imagined myself in some nice peaceful place

Well here I am again, I've been coming to this list since It got on youtube. I remember when working towards my dream to become a game developer inspired by Zelda saga like some of you. And I won a scholarship in one school from vancouver. And I've been now here working towards my dream of become a game artist, and always when I feel that I need to go to my "happy place" this playlist is part of it.

Skyward Sword was the first zelda game I was excited for the release. Crimson Loftwing might be one of my faves.

Zelda’s lullaby reminds me that how I started with Zelda on OoT and that song, when you learn it on the ocarina it just makes me feel good.

The SS and TP soundtrack has me reminiscing over my days coming home from school just to play these games. Such fond memories these games hold. ❤

When I had an oculus VR headset, I realized quickly, the only thing I enjoyed was finding worlds similar to this experience, and then I swiftly realized that I can have a fire by myself in real life, while playing zelda music. Cheers!

A year ago i listened to this with no clue what zelda was and I read peoples comments on how much it means to them, and yeah I think 6 months ago I got into zelda and its just crazy how amazing the games are

Honestly wasn't expecting Age of Calamity to have such great music but 13:39 - A Quiet Moment is amazing. It instills calm but some bittersweetness as well. Beautiful.

Twilight princess has by far the best story and the ost really complements it and is incredible.

twilight princess, to me, is still one of the best games i played in my life, if it's not the first, seriously...

I've never played Zelda, but these songs are so nostalgic to me and I don't know why

There's this unusual feeling that rushes over me when I think about the people that will come back to this or discover it for the first time. Iike the internet will be around for a long time, and hopefully so will this video. I hope the people out there are doing good, just take a moment to enjoy these tracks and be present. :)

Zelda music has that certain magic to it and it can’t be replicated

I just put this on in the background while I'm working on assignments, and when the Twilight Princess songs started playing, I felt like I was 14 again, that was my first Zelda game and it still has such an impact on me, even now a decade later... Such good memories, thanks for making me smile :)

3:36 is my personal favorite. It brings back so much good memories! I love this game and the nostalgia that it brings. Good luck on exams everyone!

Definitivamente lo mismo para mí. Zelda es un videojuego con un ambiente muy tranquilo y emocionado. Espero que “Botw 2” sea tan bueno como esta videojuego. ¿Puede Nintendo superarlo? Sería muy difícil. Por cierto, Español no es mi lengua materna por eso yo pido disculpas por los errores. Pero así se aprende haha

Koji Kondo is from out of this world. Absolutely amazing.

Most of these songs being from Twilight princess really shows you how much of a masterpiece that game was.

Such an amazing game! Still Ocarina of Time, Majors Mask, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild are all better! Now that is saying something. Amazing series!

Just heard the first second of this and was absolutely captivated by the visualizer and the pattering rain in the background. One of the actually good ambiance videos on KZread at the moment.

Everytime I hear any legend of Zelda music my heart becomes a warm pit in my stomach. I've never heard something as calming and nostalgia inducing besides this and OG Minecraft music. Videogames like this are on another level of emotion that most people won't understand. This calms me and makes me feel like it's okay, thank you for uploading this. 💚

Skyward Sword's music is just some of the best and most underrated pieces I've ever heard

6:57 That music gives me family feels. Like parents and children having a group hug. Chilling together. Like new parents hugging with their baby in the middle. It's an hearthwarming music. 10:17 feels like people traveling together.

Listening to this while painting miniatures is one of the most zen moments I've ever had. So thank you for that!
