Hi Lesley! I love your videos so much I learn a lot about my favorite birds! I love blue Jays so much I live between Port Huron and Detroit and I feel the birds and squirrels daily. I find the blue Jays really live Walnuts and sunflower seeds what did you say they like the most? Also can I feed them live super worms?

My favorite was the Nuthatch at 3:21. So much agility walking on a vertical surface. I was surprised it doesn't flap to go upwards, just a strong jump. You wouldn't notice small details like that without the slow motion. Thanks for sharing!

EXQUISITE! Thank you. Breathtaking. If bluejays were rare people would travel long-distances to marvel at their beauty. But because they are fairly common they're so unappreciated.

Pretty cool that they land on your arm and hand. I didn't know Blue Jays like shelled peanuts. Will leave some out for them from now on. I normally just save them for the squirrels.

oh Lesley. your art has been clearly on display before. the poetry in your narration, your striving for art in the camera work, and the attention to the music you use. however, this is something altogether more. this is art, madam. it would not be so much were it not capturing and sharing your deep, quiet, and intimate love of your avian friends and your tender love of this world of nature, but there it is. it is a gift of love, Lesley, and we all hunger for these gifts. thank you my dear friend. thank you for this sweet gift.

So beautiful and soothing. Excellent editing Lesley! I loved watching those Blue Jays come swooping in at slow motion, resembling a small hawk or falcon coming in on its prey. That Canada Jay must love you. It's acting like the way cats rub on people and leaving scents on objects. One thing I really do find true about the Canada Jay, is it resembles an over-sized chickadee.

What's so amazing is the birds look like they're checking you out before and after they take a peanut. Or are they responding their reflection in the camera lens? We don't have real blue jays where I'm located but do have a scrub jay that acts very similar. They do indeed become your friend after time although I'm nowhere close to being able to identify each individual bird like you. What a joy to watch. Keep up the great work!

One that was stunned from flying into another suet cage is an across the street family member that was allowed to spend the winter with my established blue Jays. Pretty sure that on of last years clutch has taken a shine to her. I call him Rebel. As spring breaks here in Western New York I watch the four males from last years clutch flirt with the visiting Jays. Thanks to your shared knowledge the Jays in my village are accepted by all.
