I also have that dish set. Yes, I got mine at the grocery store. A different promotion piece every week. I ended up with 20 pc service, also, gravy bowl, vegetable bowls and everything else. I bought them for myself when I got married. When we moved from our home and knew that I needed to downsize. I almost donated them to GW. At the last minute I decided to keep them. I have used them for my holiday dishes. (Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving) and the color goes with everything without overpowering the table.

Couldn’t believe it when you showed your dishes. That’s the same set I have. I got points at a grocery store and collected a whole set right before I got married. That’s 50 years ago. I raised my family using those dishes. You will really enjoy them. You made me so happy to see how much you liked them. 😮

I have something similar in dishes. I found them when I managed apartments and a renter left them behind. I’ve used them about ten years. I now have them put away to use like under plants and things like that. I’ve read they may contain lead considering the year they were made.

The rattling will eventually be a happy memory! Those babies are so cute! Love the vases and nature coming in 😍I was a perfectionist cleaner and then had kid #1, still a perfectionist cleaner, kid #2 still a perfectionist, but it was a teensy bit stressful, kid #3, I was completely overwhelmed, lol. My mom said "Give it a lick and promise" 😂. I let some big stuff go, like fan blades, baseboards, etc. kid #4 I had to let everything go, it got done when it got done, lol. When kid #4 got older like 9, I started to get back into a very perfectionist routine of cleaning and then along came surprise kid #5! I am lucky if a lick and promise even happens nowadays 🤣🤣 jk, kid #5 is 10 now and 3 oldest have moved out, but #5 is a human wrecking ball, so it's like shoveling snow while it's still snowing, lol.

Beautiful!!! Love everything!!! Vases are so neat!!!

Well when you put that tall vase on the table then people that are sitting across from each other won’t be able to see each other so it’s best to keep a low profile on the table I think it’s just a suggestion🤗

This time of year we aren’t using our table (it’s our busy season and sit down meals are rare) so I enjoy having fun with my table decor.

Thank you, Kimberly! Our trim color is Sherwin Williams accessible beige, and our counters are laminate from Lowes. They are always in stock, and they cut them to size for you. They were meant to be a temporary solution as we were short on time, but I actually ended up really liking them so we are keeping them for now. Super easy to clean too!

@@leahorrhome Thank you so much...Wow I cannot believe your counter top is laminate...I love the marbled look...we have a Lowe’s about 30 minutes away from us...We are some day hopefully soon will get a new counter top and I definitely need a new kitchen sink...my husband temporarily fixed the sink drain with silicone “LOL”...we priced a quartz one I liked and that was going to run $2,000 plus and I don’t have much for a counter top and some of it was going to be cut into for the sink...my hubby was not liking that...and I was a little shocked to on the price...so when I saw yours...I still cannot believe it’s laminate my hubby will be HAPPY 😃 AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊

Hi Leah! I love your sweet home! 💖 May I ask, do you have granite counter tops? If so, can you tell me what type of spray you were using to wipe them down? We have granite and I am looking for something more natural to wipe them down. If I just use a wet dish rag it leaves streaks. Hoping to use something more natural other than the chemical spray we have. Thank you!🌸

Hi Angie! We actually have laminate counters. I have friends who have granite and they say thieves works well for them. I am sure there are other options out there, but I haven’t done a lot of research. We would like to upgrade our counters eventually, so I will be interested to explore more options then!

As soon as I saw your video I let out a contented sigh! Given you have a working farm and this is your busy season everything looks so nice and simply lovely. Being an empty nester, I really miss the little things the boys used to leave around the house that reminded me of them. No more baseball gloves, school books, or toys (when the were littles). We love visiting our sons and their families, but it's not quite the same as having them at home. But, I have grandkids that I love and treasure. Loved the clip of you feeding your precious goats🐐. Goats are my favorite farm animal, because they respond when you call them by name and wag their little tails . . . kind of like dogs!🐶 Be blessed today dear Leah! 💖

I left them as they were so I’m not sure the color. I’ve tried to match a few wood pieces to them, and honey by Minwax is a close match.
