HELP STOP FAKE CHANNELS AND CONTENT THIEVES STEALING FROM ORIGINAL ARTISTS! In recent years KZread has been actively encouraging and supporting the vast plethora of rip-off channels uploading without consent our original works. These channels are often rewarded with thousands of subscribers and views into the millions…and all at the expense of writers and composers, many who will go unmentioned on these channels with no help from YT’s content ID system that invariably fails to recognise the true source of the music. THIS HAS TO STOP or we will cease to exist…or become so discouraged we will simply stop creating…or at least uploading on FREE streaming platforms. PLEASE DON’T LISTEN TO THESE FAKE “RELAX” CHANNELS but rather only click on those videos from authentic channels that feature the music notation symbol next to the artists name such as Al Marconi ♪ . The music on these channels will almost certainly be a higher resolution and you will be helping REAL artists and not these opportunists. Also please LIKE, SHARE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE to these channels and not these FAKE copycat channels. On behalf of all of us fighting this infestation without any help from KZread…I THANK YOU!

I listen to your music every day now as its wonderful relaxing for me as my day job is working for a large organisation at home which is very stressful, and you are super talented. I think I want to buy all your albums as I can't keep using my computer like this? I have also discovered artists - one I know - who have had their work pinched in this way and I don't think that's right or fair, I don't know how they get away with this - and some purport to do it on behalf of the artist themselves. ❤🐇Thank you

Now that's music to my ears ;) Yes I often get that reasoning or "Can I use your music in my production for free...I will credit you though?" Can you imagine a bakery being expected to give all its produce away "for promotional purposes"...they wouldn't stay in business very long. Thanks for the support.

Sorry to hear about your frustrations Al. I assume you have already tried using KZreads “content ID” system? It could potentially let you monetize off of videos others upload that contains your copyrighted work, instead of simply removing them. That way the original video does not lose traction, and you get all the revenue they would instead.

My digital distributor does this on my behalf but the system is not wholly effective because up-loaders know how to fool the digital blueprint system and get around it not picking up my content ID and then I get completely cut out of receiving any residuals. This seems to be happening more and more. What is more annoying is that those videos always seem to gain more traction than any of mine...even though I'm the artist/writer and original content creator...grrrr. It's frustrating and YT are condoning copyright theft which is of course contravening international law...not sure how they can get away with this but I guess Google are too big and powerful to be messed with...and small fry like me don't have the resources available to hold them to account. Thanks for your input :)
