Ohh you lucky guy!! when I was a kid growing up in Ontario, [ a place with some good thunder storms] I ... even as a kid...loved it when the weather would "turn"...my little sister would get frightened sometimes..but I always and still do, find rain and thunder ...exciting ....NOT frightening....what a comfort...I live on the West coast...and thunderstorms are rare... lots of rain and wind in Tofino ...My town...You could record Months of rain and wind...I lived for 6 years in a tent/cabins on the Ocean on the west coast ...now I "Live" in a city.... I miss my natural home and the soothing rain.....so this helps...I have 2 sub woofers and speakers out the "Yin Yang" so ...With your help.... I can simulate a "real" thunderstorm.....Believe me....and my friends all love it too. Some have now even come over to sleep, because they like the sounds....Well a few Beer and a Joint.. also help....But the point is....I am glad to have these sounds to calm people down!

You are a true healer. My favorite part of each day is curling up with one of your videos, I call it my brain cleansing. Your creative work is very much appreciated. Bless you.

Had a hard time in the last year with business and wife. My soul is much troubled. Your thoughtful creations soothe my mind and eventually, body like no other. You are an artist and a healer sir. Oh my gosh, now I don't want to sleep, I want to go find one of my Pat Conroy books and luxuriate in the Low Country life.. Don't know if my heart could stand reading Prince of Tides again, but this beautiful recording takes me right there. The marshes are calling!

This one has grown on me a lot, I like to alternate between this and "Rain on a Window" for sleeping, however, my preference has been for this recently. I use the rain only ones for studying. These videos are really excellent contributions, I use to think relaxing sounds were a gimmick, they're not, they definitely do work.

the rain hitting the water is perfect! you cant fake that kind of wet, and it wouldn't be rain in the low-country without birds and bugs-thanks for all your great videos

I like this for relaxing during the day. My favorite to sleep to at night is Rain on a Tent Sounds - 8 hours. Brad, I really appreciate your work - I appreciate your help in relaxing and sleeping.

Hearing this with the Vangelis song "Antartica", made me sleep in minuts yesterday. Cheers!

I, too, have lived in Vegas for the past eight years. Not by choice though but because of my husbands job. I grew up in the deep south where thunderstorms are the norm in the summer afternoons. I long for the sound of rain on my roof and thunder in the distance. This helps, even if it's not the real thing. =)

I was going to close this for other generic rain noise but once I heard the birds chirping at 1:19-ish, I have forgotten that everywhere I went there was no background nature noise but rain sounds on loop! Thank you!

This just instantly makes me feel goosebumpy and sleepy; like a kid in the holiday cabin, rain outside, warm and cosy inside. If only life was always like that. This is the best nature sounds relaxation video i have found ...excellent gentle and varied sounds of rain, thunder, water, and critters (like in real life) ...just wonderful. DARK and STORMY NIGHT is good too, but the wind sounds make me feel cold brrr. And thank you Brad for no ads. More 8 hour videos please : ).

Seattle on my boat under covered moorage in the University district. When it's warm enough to have the hatch windows open and the fresh air coming in. The wave sounds in this are like the wave action on the side of the boat. Sleep like a log. Stress just evaporates!

Oh my gosh, you've done it to me again! I can totally just imagine my best friend and I coming here, maybe sitting on the porch of a cabin that overlooks the lagoon (I know there wasn't one in the video, but I have a really good imagination!) and watching the rain and listening to the thunder! I recently moved to a medical facility and your videos help me block out noises at night!

Thank you so much. I have listened to so many of these sound/videos over the last month since a sudden onset of hearing loss/tinnitus and while i appreciate all of them, this is the most helpful, calming, and masking for my tinnitus. beautiful to watch too.

After a very tough (almost) tear, the past few weeks regardless how tired I am I can not sleep, it's affecting me during the day a lot but I discovered your work and I have to say like many others, THANK YOU! I put one of these on in my room pitch black, the whir of a fan in the corner of my room, and I sleep within 20-30 minutes instead of 6 hours, much respect from the UK!

Thank Yo Brad, I can see right aaway that this is going to be a favourite rain video. I have your train video.As a very young child I had troubles falling asleep. We lived near train tracks. when I'd hear a train whistle I'd be asleep in moments.Since being 3 years in the infantry 43 years ago,I learned to fall asleep in seconds even laying on piles of rocks during a bombardment or in a jolting armoured carrier!

I love this it sounds so natural. I'll find out if it work's tonight.

SirShoutAlot You are very welcome! I think most of the folks posting these types of vids are trying to get advert money. Ads and relaxation sounds just are not a good fit. I thought that somebody needed to fix that.

Thanks. I have always felt, with these nature sounds, that the addition of a visual is a big plus.

When it's 90 outside ( and it was) it actually feels pretty good standing in the rain!

Thanks. I don't sell videos... just sounds. Secondly, crunching an 8 hour continuous video would be incredibly time consuming. Thirdly, most people just use the sounds as background noise and stop watching the video in the first few minutes. Anyhoo, that's my take on it! ;:^)

Oh no..... for about 10 minutes. The video is looped as I was getting soaked. I learned after that to bring an umbrella while on vacation.

I'd love to just sit there....IN THE RAIN..........watching the rain hit the water. Why do so many people hate the rain? It's so relaxing......and why do people hate getting wet? We all get wet in the shower. People are weird. My dog agrees. :-)
