Relaxing POV Photography in COLOGNE - Sony A7III with 55-210mm f/4.5

Ойын-сауық

Today I went out for a 2 hour photography walk in the heart of Cologne, Germany. I wanted to share how I approach and capture images so I strapped my GoPro to my chest and filmed this little relaxing pov photography video.
Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy!

Brilliant photo tour of Köln. Köln Cathedral is massive and majestic! Have you heard about the rose petal window motifs in Cathedrals? One theory suggests that the window design identifies the harmonic frequency of that specific cathedral, like 330 Hz, 428 Hz, 432 Hz, and so on. Each one of these frequencies are a healing frequency and going to a cathedral was a place for resetting the bodies natural frequencies. Some of this is demonstrated in Masaru Emoto's photographic work showing different vibrations affect the shape of water crystals as they freeze. While the cathedral tech and related knowledge is gone, many cathedrals sill have their pipe organs and those produce a euphoric energy.

Woaah I´ve never heard of the harmonic frequencies! And I want to thank you for all the detailed and informative comments you´re writing, they are thought provoking and you just made me start a rabbit hole on those healing frequencies 😂 But I have to say, whenever I enter a holy/religious building or ground, my mood instantly switches into a safe, calm and warm state.

@@Kevnslife Yes. I think a building's geometric design (creates harmonic reverberations) of the pre-1850 buildings are designed with that in mind. The past was more sophisticated then we are being told. I got into this researching dirigibles. A topic the history controllers cannot deny but try to 'cover up' how ubiquitous this mode of travel was pre-1930's. I have some posters, tickets and newspaper jpgs of Zeppelin, etc. flights. I have a jpg of an ad from 1905 selling a 12 person dirigible for $5000 and sold to "make money transporting people". Connected to dirigibles, there are also a number of buildings which have "docking stations" for dirigibles at the top of the building. Even some towers were built specifically for this purpose of docking these, but the official story is "water tower" or "lookout tower" or "the attached building is gone and the tower is all that's left..." I have a pdf of an encyclopedia from 1851 and dirigibles are in there! A russian historian (name?) speculated that 400-1200 years have been added to the history books to give us the "present" 2023 date (i'm not sure on this but the idea not to be ruled out). Jump to the conclusion: this is why the W>E>F> "the great reset" is so concerning because it looks like the controllers plan is to delete peoples and rewrite the books for the next farming experiment. Anyone I talk to about this that has a vested interest in maintaining the "official narrative" sees these ideas as dangerous to "the science™".

Do you shoot with your A7III in crop mode or without and crop while editing?

I am using old APSC lenses so the camera crops in automatically but I shoot without the mode and crop in post. I don´t know if the quality would be the same if I shoot in crop mode but all I know is that your camera will use it´s maximum megapixels when shooting without crop mode, if the loss is the same because of cropping in post then I am just having one extra step in post with cropping. (so many cropping words send help) 🤣

@@Kevnslife It should get same result in crop mode I have this lens (just the black one) and use it with my A7III as well. You can technically remove back cover of the lens and it will cover full frame at above 135 mil, but it will give light leaks with direct light, with back cover you might still be able to get more pixels on short end of it. But I went easy mode and just went back to using it in APSC mode instead xD

You can get it used and in great condition for about 180,- Euros. I bought this lense 2 years ago with my old Sony A6000 and even tho this lense is for APSC Sensors I am still using it till this day with my full frame camera in crop mode.

@@kathvega22 Hey, I am still using this lense everyday. It will crop in since it´s not made for full frame sensors, however you can still use the full 24 megapixel, you just have to crop into the image in your photo editing software because there will be a slight vignette. Go for it, I took all my images on Instagram and videos on KZread with these 2 lenses. Have a wonderful day!

@@KevnslifeI have an A7C and my lens kit currently is a Samyang 24mm 2.8, Sony 50mm 1.8, Sony 30mm 3.5 macro (apc lens), and Sony 16-35mm f4 PZ G... Not the best set up as I have to switch lenses waaaay too much. I'm realizing that for the shots I wanna take, I need this kind of focal length you're using. So many bad reviews on it, but these pics you've taken look so good. I think I'm going to order it tonight. The 210mm on a FF sensor is 315mm, correct?

@@PancakeDiaries Hello there, how did you decide? Did you buy the lens? And for the reviews, yes it is kinda bad but in my honest opinion you can still work pretty well with it when you know how to edit in post or manage to get beautiful compositions without even having to edit later on. And yes it will be 315mm.
