I have pretty much the same hobby, and I kinda do get it. This guy has so many unnessecary steps -- putting the beans in with a tweezer? The fuck? Why does he spray them in a way, so that it also wets his scales? The brushing of the puck screen -- huh? The way he puts in the portafilter basket. I mean, it's ok if you wanna do these things, but it does kind of come across in pretentious way. Edit: Forgot to mention there are also 3 coffee mills and 3 espresso machines visible in the short, which could certainly be described as an abundance of equipment.
