Relative risk and risk ratios
Ғылым және технология
Public Health professionals and epidemiologists often do risk calculations. These might include risk ratios, absolute risk, relative risk and risk differences. In this video, Dr Greg Martin teaches how to understand and calculate risk. These techniques can be used in epidemiological research to inform public health policy.

Your videos made all the different "tests" make sense by giving me a great 30,000' view, and then sorting them visually. All the visuals REALLY help!! I'm taking a M.S. in Global Health online and your lectures are a fabulous adjunct to what I am learning. Soooooo helpful! Thank you!!

Fantastic lecture, Dr. Greg. I am afraid, there is a typo in the infographic. In the infographic, it is shown for the non-smokers is, 53+798=842. this would be, 53+789 = 842. thanks.

I noticed that too after putting the numbers into a spreadsheet.
Is there a different between relative risk and risk ratio
Something is wrong with the data you gave for the smoking during pregnancy study. 53 + 937 does not equal 842 sir
Thanks
Good explanation
