Hello MBTI typologist here! It is always recommended for couples to have the same MBTI “group”. So INFJ will be the best with ENFP, ENFJ will be best with INFP. They all fall under the same NF group. Vice versa for other groups! ESFJ best with ISFP etc etc etc. Rylan and Shane will have a great emotional compatibility and support system for each other. However, intellectually, and sexual compatibility might be lower. Since they are both extroverted intuitive (Ne) users, there isn’t much they can feed off of each other. Just like what Anthony said about the extroverted feeling (Fe) vs introverted feeling (Fi), whereas those functions can give each other what they are missing and craving. I assumed I was an infp or something, but my boyfriend thinks I'm enfp or something similar. He doesn't think I'm introverted but not overly extroverted either... Maybe in the middle. If anything, between the two of us, he is a lot more quiet and I talk constantly. His therapist called him an Entp. He's a very healthy entp. He had some bonding issues where his attachment style was more dismissive. But he works very hard to improve his flaws. He doesn't believe following your heart, but if our relationship was threatened, he'd be heartbroken, quietly. My question is, we are not in the same mbti group I don't think, so how could the best way we could approach the conflicts we have? Sorry I don't have a more specific mbti type I could be, I honestly don't know what I am! Haha

@@sophiealex1790 First things first-MBTI extroversion and introversion is not really the same thing as general extroversion and introversion in psychology terms! MBTI extrovert vs introvert is more so about how you direct your first functions-whether it is inwards or outwards. So between INFP and ENFP, if you think you focus more on Fi which is your own feelings, emotions, morals, and values more than anything then you are most likely an INFP. If you focus on Ne which is the natural habit of linking one idea to another, generating ideas, and creativity, then you are most likely ENFP! There are much more to typing than just this, but this is identifying your first cognitive function. The best way to approach a ENTP and xNFP relationship is understanding and accepting that you guys process information and emotions REALLY differently. He is more of a matter of fact kind of guy, and you are more emotional and personal. Accepting such facts and not wanting to change your partner into how YOU perceive the world and emotions are extremely important. Everyone have extroverted and introverted qualities, the 50/50 split rule does not apply here, especially with MBTI, we will always use either an extroverted or introverted cognitive function more than the other. So technically speaking, there is no either INTJ or ENTJ. It’s about cognitive function stacking order! Because if you change just ONE letter, you completely change up the stacking order, you will have completely different subconscious and unconscious cognitive functions too! It is not about typing by letter, more so which cognitive functions comes first in the simplest sense. Most MBTI tests are inaccurate in figuring out ones type, as they type by letters and not by cognitive functions stacking! The only website that I know of currently that is a staple to accuracy is on Sakinorva.com. Try it on there! Someone who takes your dark past or mental difficulties and sticking by. I'm someone who has very bad anxiety at times. And my partner is trying to teach me ways to cope with this. You may think you don't deserve a relationship because of emotional struggles, but if your communication is 101%, then you can really build a strong foundation I think!

Totally agree with you on that. I'm a therapist and I agree that in tend to manifest as an extreme form of codependency- which is for all that it takes- puts pressure on the other half to show up, be there for the other half most OTT. But in this context, Shane has been suffering from Severe Anxiety. It was further reinforced when they had an intruder in their previous house who was tapping on all windows, crawling, and possessing a large duffle bag with whatever weapon's inside. Also when they moved in Colorado, Shane was previously left alone during his first tornado warning. It was documented and he had suffered a shaking panic attack. I hope next time you these commenters make remarks about one's state of mind or relationship, please, they do their research. Thank you for shedding light to this. What you're doing is great.

I heard from a therapist (Cinema Therapy here on KZread) that it's not healthy in a relationship when someone feels like they couldn't even function without the other person. Because we should be able to live our life alone and we're whole on our own we just enjoy the other person's presence and they make our lives better. But otherwise we're whole even without them. I feel like it's really true because I know a girl who couldn't even function without a relationship she didn't even know what to do with her life and now it seems like she's in a very codependent relationship.

Agreed, tho I d argue that at least 40% of people constatnly need validation and feel loved and supported to function. I am not one of those people, but...I d say that this was probably also a thing in the past if we look into our history...almost in every era there was almost half of population directly dependent on validation from others...which begs the question of: is is unhealthy or is it just normal human behaviour. I mean there are animals that also cannot survive without a pack, maybe its just engraved more into some peopel´s DNA.

As long as you're seeking validation and comfort from others because you have a low self esteem that's not gonna mean anything because you still don't feel that way. I was also seeking validation from my boyfriend all the time but it's not his job to tell me all the time that yes, I'm the best person in the world (which is also too much for me and I feel like it's a lie...). We're seeking validation from others because we don't love ourselves the way we should but in that case it doesn't matter how many people tell you you're the most beautiful person in the world. Also I have social anxiety but it's not my boyfriend's job to "heal it". I feel better when I'm with him and my anxiety is less when he's around but he's not obligated to be my therapist because every person has their own issues they have to figure out for themselves.

Ngl, I'm glad they have each other, I'm sure it's tough to be the partner to someone pretty famous/infamous, and to be the famous/infamous. If they can grow from this and become better people for the rest of their lives, it's better than being a bad person for the majority of it. It doesn't dismiss past bad behavior, but it encourages a discussion of really inappropriate behavior and to be careful with how you present yourself online. I wish no ill on anyone.

I really enjoy watching Ryland and Shane's videos when they're being good to one another, but I do think they should go to counseling. Shane can be a bully and very passive aggressive and Ryland just sort of takes it because he's not confrontational. Shane says a lot of mean things in front of other people about Ryland and that's really messed up. You can tell Ryland doesn't like it but he just laughs it off. Shane did that a lot to Garrett as well. Low key bullying the people he cares about because of his own insecurities. For some reason Shane can't just compliment Ryland the way Ryland compliments Shane. Why can't Shane compliment Ryland for all he does without getting mad and saying he does more? Partners should build each other up, not have one who embarrasses the other and talks them down and says they don't do enough or are lazy, etc.

@@largelyuseless you are right. He gets chronic vertigo and said that the misophonia has gotten progressively worse over the last few years and after Covid. Both i think are inner ear conditions. Not to mention the stress of people attacking him constantly could cause small health issues to become large ones.

I think Ryland is a narcissist. Shane shares his feelings and Ryland completely cuts him off and talks about something else. there could be something tragic going on right in front of them and Shane will feel empathetic and have feelings about the situation and Ryland will be like "so how about getting me the new Gucci slides?" Ryland is really materialistic and he doesn't feel for other people. in the clip you showed, Ryland was saying that he wanted the newest and greatest truck. he wants very much to live the lavish life that Shane provides for him. and when I came to them eating in the truck, all I saw was Shane not wanting to eat in the truck because he didn't want to get his new truck dirty and Ryland not caring and eating in it anyway and Shane being uncomfortable with it, you can tell by the look on his face

Working with Clevver will always be a massively cool job criteria to put on the resume.
