I still think one of the most interesting things is that Vietnam and America are actually more friendly than this video shows. Even though we fought an extremely long brutal war against each other and Vietnam is still Communist we've managed to mend relations and now our two countries share similar goals and have no hostile feelings to each other.

Thats because they share the same enemy: China, the same thing is also with Russia and China, they are so culturally different and had a long bad history but the only thing that binds them is their common enemy wich is USA, if USA suddenly ceases to exist, these two countries would have another Cold war

We have a common rival/enemy in China, also Ho Chi Minh wasn’t a crazy nutcase like Kim Il-Sung or other communists were. He wanted to have better relations with the USA once they actually got out of Vietnam. That helps a ton too

I'm Lithuanian living in Nicaragua and here almost all the people wants to live, work, and study in the United States inclusive is one of the Central America's countries Wich more classes of English has and it has a lot of business and help from the USA to Nicaragua inclusive the Education USA program is very active here and in the map says that is against USA because the government is helping to Rusia and doesn't likes USA but the people here hates the government (more than 60% hates the government of Nicaragua and loves USA)

Bro, I live in the northeast U.S and that is completely false. Northern states like Canada have a significant amount of PHD’s immigrants from India, and Middle East.

From Kazakhstan and I like the U.S. Our foreign relations are tough because we have to balance between Russia, China and the West. If we get too close to U.S we will turn into Ukraine 2.0 but if we get too close with russia we will be Belarus 2.0.I think we're heading the latter direction though😑

Yeah, it's far better if Kazakhstan remains close to Russia. They may lightly or moderately oppress you, but that's better than getting your country bombed out and population killed like Ukraine. I think it would have been better if Ukraine had maintained closer relations with Russia over the E.U. and the West. Then, Russia wouldn't have repeatedly invaded and there would be no destruction or loss of life. 😔

As a latinamerican from probably the closest country to the US in the region from a diplomatic perspective (Chile) I can say that while we wouldn’t treat someone from the US badly, most people have a negative view towards the US foreign policies, history and lots of cultural matters. There’s a general resentment in most of LatAm for what they did during the XX century regardless of people loving visiting New York or Orlando.

I always wondered why these stupid Hispanics appropriated the terminology Latin or Latino. It has nothing to do with them. The only direct descendants of the ancient Romans or Latins today are the inhabitants of Lazio, a region in Italy. And the worst of that is the fact that they try to involve Brazil on that. Brazil has absolutely nothing to do with any Spanish speaking country. The only thing we share are borders, nothing more than that. And if the issue here is the language, they should include in this Latin America the United States and Canada since the English language has more than 80% of the vocabulary composed of words of Latin origin because Britain was an important Roman colony for more than five centuries. Get your facts straight, please.

@@vukstojancic4552 Serbia should be -80 to be completely honest. A lot of Serbians fault the US for the breakup of Yugoslavia, and the modern state of Serbia. Definitely to the point of being lower than Russia. But the blame should really go to those we hang after the war ended. The US bombing Belgrade was only a symptom of the problems plaguing the region at the time.

As an American, I can say this was an interesting experience. It makes me want research the history my country’s foreign relations. All in all I think I learned something. But something I did know already is that Morocco is American’s longest standing alliance and they were the first country to acknowledge the United States’s sovereignty and independence over the UK, which I still have respect for them for that as that would have probably soured relations with other countries when they did that. That’s also why I hope one day the government will recognize Palestine and Taiwan as sovereign nations.

I question though how much of it is the government more than the people. In recent months, I've been startled at the number of Russian folks online who are surprisingly pro-West or are at least neutral toward America and others (though some are hostile). It makes me wonder how this video is measuring the approval ratings, government or public opinion.

@@cheesuschrist5017 i'll tell the entire context before 1971 pakistan was made up of 2 parts west pakistan and east pakistan (present day bangladesh) separated by india also india was a socialist nation while pakistan was a capitalist nation east pakistan was one of the most neglected area of pakistan despite making around 50% of the population (like most people used to say bengali in east pakistan but it was not the official language there they were imposed to speak urdu) in 1970 a highly educated east pakistani sheikh mujib ur rehman (father of current bangladeshi PM) won the elections with a land slide victory but west pakistan denied him as their PM so he demanded for a new country for bangladeshi people and was arrested and tortured by west pakistan in 1971 under operation searchlight west pakistan committed one of the largest genocide after world war 2 in east pakistan around 3million people died and 300,000-400,000 women were raped and people many of them were high profile and educated east pakistanis (like professors, doctors, poets, scholars, etc) this caused a huge refugee crisis in india a rebel group named mukti bahini got trained by the indian army and started fighting guerrilla war in forests of east pakistan in all of this usa was supporting west pakistan because pakistan was under the capitalist block of usa mukti bahini started fighting their war of independence in march 1971 and india kept itself away from that struggle because rainy season was close in east pakistan and it is one of the wettest place on earth in november indian army was ready to attack east pakistan and make it an independent nation and pakistani intelligence agency got that news so they attacked the agra air base on 3rd december 1971 and it was the official entry of india into the bangladesh liberation war india easily started defeating the pakistani forces on both the fronts(for context 120 soldiers with 3 mines and few bullets in longewada rajasthan defeated 3000 pakistani troops with tanks in just one night with 2 casualty on indian side, india also destroyed the karachi port of pakistan so badly that it was burning for days) so pakistan finally went to then potus nixon for support and he sent his 7th fleet along with a lot of nukes assisted by britain's eagle fleet but at the end moment soviet union came for india's rescue with their 40 fleet and nuclear submarines(under indo soviet friendship treaty) and usa and britain were not able to move an inch(a highly ranked official of the royal navy said to the american naval officer "sir we are too late") that was the biggest support india got from the soviet union in it's history which is still prevalent for pro russian sentiments in india till date soviet submarines remained there till 16th december 1971 when 93000 pakistani forces surrendered to india in the dhaka airbase (one of the largest surrender after ww2) (all this is a historical context nothing is made up you can even check that)

As an American, it’s honestly really inspiring to me that the US and Canada haven’t always gotten along due to the fact that Canada remained a British colony for longer than the US did, but nowadays the US and Canada are pretty much best friends. I don’t know for sure but I think it’s also possible that we’ve built alliances through Canada who is allies with many countries around the world

An interesting comment. So, as an American you obviously celebrate the self determination of the 13 colonies to form the United States, but resent Canada's choice to stay with the British Empire rather than become part of the formative USA. And surely, if Canada had sought independence from Britain in the C19th rather than 'Dominion' status, then Canada would have been gobbled up by the USA, like half of Mexico was. Throughout much of the C19th, it was American policy to eventually take Canada, right up to WW2. Its only the British Empire that maintained Canada's independence from the USA today. You ignorantly gloss over history to make your trite comments..........

Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are just British wannabe countries trying to copy the British empire. I'm fairly positive the United States is the only major power to recognize the Western Sahara as Moroccan. EDIT: I just looked it up pretty quickly and Russia does not recognize Western Sahara as Moroccan but doesn't recognize it as an independent state either. Which is how many other nations stand as well. However, I was wrong about America being the only Major Power to support Morocco, as both France, India, and Poland do as well.
