Swati Motwani g..... Thanks for watching our videos.... AVC does not touch or intersect AC because the gap between AC and AVC is AFC.... AVC will touch AC only if AFC is zero. But AFC can never be zero. So AVC can never touch AC....

It is due to Law of variable proportion. At the initial stage of production MC and AC both are falling but MC falls faster than AC and reaches to its minimum point. There after MC starts rising and intersects falling AC at its lowest point... After this point, AC also starts rising.
