RELATABLE SELF IMPROVEMENT MOTIVATION - MY FIRST SPRINT WORKOUT

Спорт

Sometimes I need self improvement motivation, but the relatable kind! I want to see someone like me working through something. I had no concept of what sprint pace felt like and this whole thing was wildly confusing, but hopefully it motivates you to start something you've been feeling overwhelmed by!

I really appreciate that you show real life. Too many creators only show what makes them look good and set unrealistic expectations. I love your humor and I love the inspiration!❤

Great sprinting! I wear my lightest shoes for sprinting. I also wear light clothes. I’m heavy enough! 😂

Wow, I love how relatable this video is! It's so motivating to see someone like me pushing themselves during a sprint workout. It's just the kind of self improvement motivation I needed to see today. Keep up the great work, you're inspiring me to work hard too!

Yes! I’m all over the place with “sprint pace” too 😂. To your question about the camera/audio option vs the phone - both are great; just happy to see and hear from you! Whatever is easiest/best for you 👍

oh my, so exciting, last year I realized that I can't even sprint 100meters, because like around 60meters the pain in the whole body :D, so with some very occassional sprint training I improved and I can sprint the whole 100 but with fastest time 20,5sec. Just keep going!

Glad I’m not the only one that gets confused by all those beeps. just gimmie a beep to start and a beep to stop, no need to countdown 😄

Love it! I am (temporarily) trying to concentrate on how I can get faster at shorter distances (yes, in my mid-forties). So... speed workouts, hill workouts, strength training, (and all that jazz) all definitely work in even though like a lot of runners I've always been in denial about strength training (ha.. ha.. ha...). I have no marathons in my immediate horizon but I do have a 10K! And yes, pre-programming those Garmins (or other watches) for workouts (and understanding the beeps) takes a little practice, just as the pacing does. You're so badass. I have a hard enough time getting out there in GOOD weather. Couldn't imagine the cold factor!!

Honoured to watch the first sprint workout. Audio/Video, great. If you don't wanna get bored (and may make the activity more productive) try a slow run between sprints instead of a walk. If you can't recover enough, then walk. GREAT WORK OUT THERE!!!🎉

First, I want to say you are looking fit and fabulous! I started to incorporate speed workouts in my last half marathon training using a Garmin training plan. I loved the challenge. I realized I was too comfortable and cozy in my easy miles and never really knew what actual racing felt like. LOL Maybe one day I can actually get through a half or full marathon "racing" 😅

Audio is good. I think recovery refers to remaining in rest for the amount of time recommended, in this case 22hrs, until your next wkout, ideally.

I did this workout yesterday. It is so weird, because the sprint is so short, 10 sec, and the rest is 3 minutes. I had the same problem, define “rest”. The 6:50 was attainable for me, too.
