Being f2p is fun, it feels more fulfilling when you get the character you want, and if you dont, well the next one is guaranteed so now you save for the other character wanted- like dish mentioned, its way more exciting And (let me brag a little bit) it goes crazy when you get really lucky- early 5 stars and getting Jing Yuan's light cone in 8 pulls 😌

I got him at 75 pulls but i got his weapon in two pulls.

The sad thing about being free2play is saving up for weeks and weeks and then STILL not getting the character you just exhausted all ressources for. *Please i just want Kirara please genshin*

I actually swiped for the very first time to get his light cone since it’s genuinely cracked and the banner is more forgiving than in Genshin. No regrets, seeing Jing Yuan obliterate enemies fills me with joy :)

I'm sorry but I have to ask, the pity reset after you get a 5 star correct? Since I pulled a total of 140 on Jing Yuan's banner, and I lost 50/50 to Bailu at 70th pull. Does that mean I'm 20 pull away from pity?

@@SchifferThe2nd Yes. That's why it's called a 50/50 cuz then you have to possibly go to pity again after getting a 5 star. That's why people feel relieved when they get the second 5 star early if they lost the 50/50, cuz that means they didn't have to use pulls to pity. Seems like you got unlucky :(

As an f2p I won my first 50/50 and went to the light cone banner. If it's the first time I think the chances are 75% to get the featured one and got it at 40 pity. Absolutely cracked light cone. I also want to be f2p in star rail. In genshin I spend a lot for welkin just to get genesis crystal to buy Keqing skin. I bought the skin on the first day the skin out. So, for months before that I bought a lot of welkin.

I'm 20 more pulls from getting Jing Yuan (lost 50/50 to Bailu at 70 pull, which is nice), and I managed to E6 Ting Yun too, which is extra nice since I don't have Bronya. I just need to swipe some money for another 20 pull, 10 if I'm lucky.
