+BrAiNwAsHDaDaNcER that would be because they were coming from africa direct, while in america they had their culture beaten out of them all throughout slavery and after. but they're not as out of touch as you might think, many of us do know our roots or seek to learn.

Because African Americans have been there for 400 years, lost their identity and culture and FORCED to assimilate over the generations due to genocide and systemic oppression. While black British migrated (to sweep up this racist country) during the 1940/50s... And we're also suppressed. Anyways, it's not that long ago therefore young people today should know their grandparents place of origin. Hope that makes a lil sense :)

+BrAiNwAsHDaDaNcER alot of british africans do/still know thier roots. And some where not even born in Engeland. They moved there when they were young.

The choreography, the transitions, the camera shots angles and editing. All just flawless! Ive been coming back to this video every few months for years and I still get chills. I don't know how you go through a routine like that and not go to the hospital. I definitely would've broke something lol! Reis you did a great thing with this one boy!

COMMON AFRICA!!!!!! I feel this summer everyone's going to be bussing our ancient moves!! Our grandparents and parents and ancestors will be so proud! We might not be doing it as good as them but we're trying!!
I don't usually comment on KZread vids but this is the best dance vid I've seen in 2015! From the dance choreograph to the transition and the mad energy 🔥🔥🔥👑👑👑

This guy is from Angola...this is Kuduro...and congolese don't dance like this. This is just Kuduro slowed down or mainstreamed. The old Kuduro used to have "ndombolo" has its warm up step to combine with combo kuduro moves. The dance moves that he does when he is in the front it's kuduro all the way. I love congolese dance though, I used to watch Yondo Sister when I was a kid but this is very diferent. Great Video. ANGOLA BIG UP. Proud of this brotha. Keep it up.

Its true that this brother is dancing Kuduro . But he also incorporates dance styles from Ghana, Congo and Nigeria. True definition of Afrobeats. One Africa
@kingyaka4767
7 жыл бұрын
well if old kuduro used to have ndombolo does it not make since then it was greatly influenced by Congo ndombolo dance, in fact kuduro dance is just a speeded up vision of ndombolo dance, pretty much like couper decaler you jack ndombolo and claim its yours, so why is the african part of the vocal in lingala, Congo's national language, most of the dance moves I have been watching and dancing to for 20 years that's why I can immediately tell it has a lot of ndombolo moves in the choreography, give credit where credit is due. Congo music has been a big influence on African music throughout the continent.
