Question: My reining-bred mare knows how to stop extremely well, but all of a sudden, she’s stopping really hard on her front end instead of staying balanced and driving with her hind end. I’m a farrier and did take her sliders off for a while. I noticed more hesitation in her stops without them, so I’m putting them back on. Any tips to get her more confident in stopping?
