This episode gives you just a glimpse of how Milim is in power. Keeping in mind that Milim is in her repressed power form, and she was holding back severely to make sure nobody got hurt. I don't think many people appreciate just how impressive what Milim did was. She completely destroyed Charybdis' entire body down to the molecule, but didn't damage Phobio. That would take an insane amount of control that only someone with a milenia of experience can do. For some information they skip in the anime about that move she use, Rimuru tried to have Great Sage analyze it and he got back a massive error. He wouldn't be able to efficiently learn that type of magic anyways. Also something they leave out of the anime that would have given you a little more of a clue to have how powerful she was, Great Sage didn't just say 10x stronger, it was 10x to infinitely stronger lol. Kind of an important detail they leave out.

@@Reanimatedyt I mean, there is a reason why none of those other Demon Lords don't want to mess with Milim despite them all having followers and her not even bothering with them. I mean, she does have her own nation of humans who follow her that she protects. They aren't her subordinates or anything like that though. Nor does she rule like to rule like Rimuru either. Why she likes Tempest so much, besides Rimuru, is the city itself. The city that she protects and lives in that's technically hers is very boring. They don't bother to advance themselves because they live in peace, and are never in any fear of danger from the outside world because of Milim's protection. So, it's a stagnant society.

Just remember, Rimuru even with all his hax and versatility just wasn't at Milim's level at the time. Imagine if that "negotiation" didn't turn out so perfectly. Pretty sure she could punch a planet to smithereens just for shits and giggles, and that's no hyperbole, imho.

@@Reanimatedyt its quite good. starts off a bit slow but it gets better later on. its basically like evangelion and nier automata having a baby and its happier(unless you read the manga to find out what happens later on .........)

So the Skill "Gluttony" is what Rimuru acquired after fusing his "Predator" and the Orc Lord's "Starved" by using Shizu's "Degenerate", So basically upgraded his "eating" skills

the name Charybdis comes from Greek myth. Odysseys had to pass between (her a giant mouth monster inhaling and spitting out the sea creating a whirlpool and then a water spout.) and Scylla (a monster with many lightning fast snake heads that would snatch people off the deck of the ship) you had to pilot right between them to be out of reach of both if you saw the 2nd Percy Jackson movie a- they had to get past her, and b- I am sorry

The Predator skill takes time with hyper powerful beings like Veldora, Ifrit, Charbodis, etc. They have powerful cores that have to be broken down and understood before he can access the full power of each being.

He can also choose not to consume them inside of himself, such as it's Veldora's barrier he's analyzing. Since it locked down such a strong being for so long, it's taking the longest. But he is going to be really nasty once he unlocks all of that power

@@Reanimatedyt Bit of side information but his new skill Gluttony is a fusion of Starved Ones and Predator, so it can melt things much faster and analyse them faster as a result.

Charybdis was consumed and appraised by Great Sage. He should get powers, if he ever decides to use them. She says this 17:15 when Rimuru removes the core from the host, Phobio.

Milim is basically a character that you max out all the levels than bring it back to the beginning of the game but on easy mode

FF was a Final Fantasy reference. Even though there's only 15 main games, if you include main series related games like FFX-2 and Tactics, there's definitely over 19 games.

That’s a start, 🤣 But yeah. If I remember what Shizu went through, the demon lord was trying to summon someone or something, but got Shizu who he didn’t want since he called her a failure. When she survived the burns staying conscious as long as she did and the summon process, he saw some slight potential since she had to have some fire elemental affinity or something to survive if I recall the manga. That’s why he chose her to be the vessel for Ifrit, but he wasn’t expecting much considering how weak she was.

"im not a bad slime" catchphrase is a heavily reference to Dragon Quest series, and the Glass Ma-- is certainly Glass Mask and it is still ongoing and its one of the longest running manga since 1976

Gluttony is the fusion of starved and predator, he used the skill he got from Shizu to fuse both skills into a new one which is Gluttony the upgraded form of predator

I mean, they skipped far too much with Milim. The only real clue to the fact that she's actually older than she appears is in the last episode there where she says it was so long ago that she can't remember why she became a Demon Lord. It would be nice if people actually got to see the whole initial meeting and knew she was really smart and AT LEAST over 800 years old, knowing she's over 2,000. I mean, not that they say it, but the tie in backstory that she was the one that created the desert where the orc story started is pretty cool.

@@randumo24 thats kinda the thing. they had a certain number of episodes and to get to the stopping point they wanted they had to cut stuff. got to remember it is still a business and they have to fit what they can where they can. also most anime are commercials for manga or LN's. stuff is cut so when you go read it there is new stuff for you to find.

@@Reanimatedyt While I can attest and also recommend these Anime, *Specially the first 3* , I must warn *"You to be Careful"!* ... *_"The Regular at Magic Highschool"_* (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) (or just "Mahouka") is a Series that's infamous for several *CHANNEL TERMINATIONS!* - They (Copyright Holders) Let Channels think everything is going fine with the Series Reactions, and then, sometime later (and quite suddenly), They CopyRight Strike *ALL* those Reactions to it *at the Same Time* (even before finishing the Series) and, if not immediate, Your Channel gets Marked for "Termination" within a week or something. I've followed several Reaction Channels going through this Cycle BTW. Some of those Channels managed to, somehow, come back from the Dead (with all Their Videos) after having already been Terminated for over half an Year ("Resurrected"?) ; and Some Others managed to make a comeback later in a New Channel... But that Series by Them became either a Redirect only OR a Pattern Exclusive, for all of Them... I'd personally would Love to see more Reactions to "Irregular" and its dope-ass (DubStep) Beats and OST + its "Magic as a Science" concept. Rimuru no longer has Predator. When he consumed the Orc Lord and gained Starved, Predator and Starved fused into Gluttony. For whatever reason the Anime neglected to mention this. Also Veldora doesn't care about Charybdis at all. And while one of them is 11, all of the kids were summoned before they were 10 so they're all gonna die unless Rimuru finds some way to save them.

in that world they are set up on how advents they are by the kingdom. each one grow fast or slow but they are like are world where you go to one place and it look old and you go to some other place and it like it can be 10+ years from where you live.

to let you know there is a new ova that is a three parter and it looks like it is a leed in to season 2. from what i saw the second will be out in june or july and the last will be before season 2 so when you get to ova 3 i dont know if you want to wait till all are out or watch them as they come out.

Not as Spoiler but I'm sad to say that after this arc, alot of content was skipped in the adaptation.... hopefully said content makes their way to season 2! Once again great work guys!

He did gain the ability from Shizu to combine spells into new ones. Also, Shizu was older than 75. o-o

Land of the Lustrous is a good anime and Manga. It is fully CGI animated though so its not for a lot of people.

All i know, is that season 2 is gonna be lit AF 🔥🔥🔥.

One Piece is hella long, but damn it deserves it. Almost never a drop in quality as far as story arcs go.

Land of the Lustrous (Houseki no Kuni) is another good show to check out as well.
