It never occurred to me that punishing blocked Rage Arts with a throw is considered a counterhit not because it's a Rage Art, but because it's armored. Using throws to punish other blocked armored moves is game changing info for me. Thank you for this tutorial

after sentai throw go for ff2 as your oki. sometimes it connects on back turn. if theyre standing up and blocking it you can oki with deep dash electric instead.

@@lichtbach7693 probably but it's technically blockable and unsafe. if the opponent stands up correctly. ff2 is a safer mid.

@@lichtbach7693 i havent labbed this particular setup i just use it in matches and i know it works often enough. it probably depends on the opponents wakeup how the ff2 connects.

Small note is for if you use your regular heat smash and it's blocked you're put into heavens wrath stance it can be a solid choice to grab for a good chunk of damage if you just need that extra output and don't want to gamble a blocked move. Going into heavens wrath during heat gives a counter so that throw is icing on the cake for that stance during heat. Really good throw out of stance.

I love using that tactic quite often when the heat smash is blocked. Really helps you maintain the rushdown pressure.

Unless I've missed something, rising 4, 4 on hit into Heaven's Wrath seems to create a legit 50/50 thanks to the command throw. You can down jab the throw, but that won't stop the mids, and you can Heat Burst both of the mids, but the throw beats Heat Burst.

Do you have any advice on doing the signature throw at 1:54? I am not good at doing directional inputs that go in opposite directions since I use the basic controls on the ps5 controller.

Nice guide, however, I'm pretty good at throwing games on my own already. :)

Ah cool! It was the way he pronounced seven, I'm from Scotland and the Irish do something similar.. It's sehven or elehven Like how you might say ehhhh when thinking. Just an observation I don't care if my Tekken teacher is Brazilian or irish lol ❤️

After sentai throw they're knocked down with head towards you. If they hold back you can get true back turn punish with 3+4 4 kick. With Heat active this becomes an unbreakable into 55+ dmg setup, SUPER good knowledge check that's been carrying me in yellow to red ranks!!

Oh I'm silly, I thought throws to punish was unique to Rage Arts 😅, and thought you had to catch them during armor otherwise. As a King main I am excited to GS every powercrush on block if thats how it works 😅 lol

Just gotta make sure the minus frames on block are the same or more than the startup of your throw, and then it's guaranteed on power crushes. Also works as a whiff punisher.

The fact that Reina's stance throws are inescapable is a joke, and she needs to be nerfed ASAP. When I do a throw during her Sentai spin, it's inescapable. So if I'm fighting someone, I could spam them with these throws and easily win.

Be careful against Kuma, because they can enter stance on a blocked power crush.

Thought you said throat game.
