I feel like RR version of last resort is the adult version of the original. It hits differently and I think that has to do with relating to the original more when I was younger (teen angst sounding) vs RR version appeals more to my adult self and feelings and I love it.

Now we need Ronnie to react to this

I would call the final scream at the end a "desperation scream" It is so heart wrenching, gut punching, and just hits you in the feels! Love the Dynamic of both of you!!!! I hope we see many more collaborations between the 2 of you!

I’m no singer or expert on music but I’ve been a little metalhead since I was six years old (my family always played gospel music but I discovered Alice Cooper when I was six & that set me off down the path of rock & metal). I’ve always been “different” & music speaks for me. It somehow says the words I can’t seem to put together. You can always tell my mood by the music I’m listening to. This is such a beautiful song & really hits home with me. I’ve always loved music but since I started watching Elizabeth’s vids, I appreciate it even more now cuz she explains the techniques in a way someone like me can understand 🤟😎🤟

You're right Sean Rooney composed it but Ronnie isn't actually playing the piano in the video. I learned this on piano and during the piano solo part he's clearly not playing the right notes (still looks cool). Everything you hear on the piano is 100% Sean Rooney playing. He has a KZread video where he shows the original piano track used for the song.

The interaction and the recognition of each of your skill sets is really nice. The technical analysis from your respective areas of expertise is so very enjoyable.

Elizabeth mentioned it earlier in the song but i feel like the shifting of the reverb size during the screams at the end was truly legendary, especially when the music was huge sounding but ronnie's space ends up collapsing in to sound like he's there alone in a tiny room right next to you while he's saying "can't you", before it explodes out to being huge again. You rarely hear reverb used as an instrument but they really nailed it here.

This combo for reactions is perfect.

Ronnie does all of the lyrics, composition and writing on top of it. Dude is a musical force to be reckoned with. Same goes for Landon Tewers (TPIY) and Caleb Shomo (Beartooth).

You know it's gonna be a good vid when AFI and ETF are mentioned within the first few minutes

Falling in reverse is probably my favorite band they are so dynamic and have so many different styles I was lucky enough to see them in a tiny venue when they put their first album out and still to this day am so amazed at how big they are an got to see them when nobody knew about them
