+Nyuha One of the greatest actors of all time :) I recently watched him as Sherlock Holmes - truly talented.

I shudder to consider what the next iteration will be capable of, but I will submit to the rule of Christopher 2.0, and I suggest you do the same. My God, what have we done?!

It is my fondest hope that Mr. Lee and Mr. Cushing are now reunited, having a spot of tea and catching up on old times. Man of many talents, master of his craft, Godspeed Sir Christopher.

I still laugh inside every time i listen to a different metal track and remember some friends of mine saying that 'all metal sounds the same', while they themselves only listen to drum and bass. Ignorance is bliss. Metal is life =P

This song is now the theme of Dracula, Saruman, Dooku and any other badass villain played by Lee

xenthosica No. Because the original poster forgot the times he played characters like Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock Holmes and Sir Henry Baskerville...all three of whom were heroes. He also forgot the time Sir Christopher Lee played Francisco Scaramanga, the title character in the James Bod movie THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. Or the voice of King Haggard in THE LAST UNICORN.

I loved this song but i never knew this version existed until now, now it's x5 more epic.

One of my favorite songs right now. And I love Christopher Lee. He was such a talent.

Well. Shit. It's been a while since a symphonic metal band has mesmerized me as much as Epica did when I listened to them for the first time three years ago, and this...just...holy fuck I feel like I'm discovering metal for the first time again.

This album is awesome just like the rest of Christopher lee and Rhapsody.

I could watch Christopher Lee, and Peter Cushing movies all day...Had no idea he was a musician too...Fascinating man...

This is the only version of this song I'll listen to. Everything else that Christopher Lee was, he added a gravitas to theatre that feels lesser without him once you've had a feel for what he *could* bring to any given piece.

For the longest time I have vehemently insisted that the only power (or symphonic, or symphonic power, or mighty, delicious, creamy, dwarven dragonballs metal; to Hell with the nomenclature) metal band worth listening to is Helloween. I appears that I -- after listening to this several times -- will have to revise this opinion. Fuckin' eh!

Have you seen their latest album drenched in swedish flags? Their song titles and fully patriotic lyrics? They even have a interview were they claim sweden to be the best country ever, and that swedes should only breed with swedes. THAT, even if you thought otherwise, is true nationalism. Nationalistic socialism is something completely different. And when it goes to the unheavy style, symphonic metal has haters all around the globe claiming it to be doll, it's not just my opinion
