I think Gigi deserved it but Jan ALSO deserved. I’m for Gigi to win, but maybe if it was a double win it might’ve been more fair? But then again, Gigi did get the hardest part and slayed.

So the storyline wasn't forced by producers, she really struggled in rehearsals but killed it on the main stage. AND THAT'S ON PRACTICING PEOPLE

That’s why she won. Jan was already amazing from start to finish so the judges and production knew that she was going to bring it during the actual performance. Gigi was so nervous and had a horrible time with rehearsal so when she suddenly brought her A-game to the performance, it gave the judges a clear view of who to give the win to.

I think the show was much realer this season! Like this whole thing that Gigi looked like she was struggling then killed it was ACTUALLY real. Like she looks frightened in rehearsals.

Ka Pi, i just searched it and it said “during the finale you weren’t allowed to film outside your house.” Gigi filmed one scene from her lip sync outside of her house and almost got disqualified i think. This is probably the main reason she did not win.

I was, and still am, shook that gigi didn't win. IMO she is better than her sister Symone, and she did win her season, whereas I bet if Jaida was in S13 she would not have won. It all makes no sense.

Queen! The most amazing iconic performance ever! As a huge fan of the Papa Don’t Preach video I was completely blown away! Gigi’s song was also very GOODE and catchy! Loved everything, the look and the moves! Perfect! What a Talent! ❤️

it was anyone's game actually. nothing matters until the last lip sync for the crown. but if it was the old format(season 4-8 format) she could've won.

Yall saying gigi won because she practiced as if Jan didn't practice for 4 years in HS musical theater, then 4 more at THE BOSTON CONSERVATORY and then practiced every year binging all the musicals since season 6. Gigi did amazing and deserved the win but seeing someone work her whole life up to that moment and LOSE to someone that got it down in just a coupleDAYS... that hurted 🤧

I don’t think Gigi was bad at all but jans singing and dancing was top tier while Gigi only had the dancing factor... the choreography for the dance was definitely a lot harder for Gigi and she definitely killed it too.
