Omg the Gion festival was pretty hectic! Glad you got out of the heat and had that delicious meal! It looks like a great deal for 2,500 yen. That piece of yam that looks like sashimi would’ve made me pretty sad though 😂 I thought it was a big block of tuna!

Love the presentation of food in Japan. That’s ART! (And, I don’t mean “something artistic”.😂) And, the food is so healthy too! Thank you for filming on such a hot day and in such a crowded place. 🙏 Take care not to get sunburn or dehydrated! ❤

What an amazing video, dear Rion. This Gion festival to be watched through your eyes is super unique. I know how much you are interested in various foods around the festival stalls but this time it was even too packed for you to enjoy there anything of it. Too many people, less hidration in a super hot and obviously humid day, lower blood preasure due to the fact you were hungry - all this caused your dizzyness - in a way 1st stage of a heat stroke. I am so glad that you acted wisely to return into spaces under AC and to find a nice place to eat a yummy lunch which helped to your total recovery. The evening atmosphere of the festival is really even more interesting. These floats are huge and pure craftmanship masterpieces. I admire the people playing drums so high above creating a special mood. I do not think it would be pleasant for you to visit up there for it is a wooden construction - probably rather shaky. I am so glad that we might have experienced Kyoto in your previous videos more imtimate fot less crowded. Gion festival is obviously a "must see" one so that everybody is visiting and I am grateful to you for showing the whole atmosphere of it. Congrats and thanks for your hard work. I do appreciate it very much. GAAOOO!!!!

2:52 Kyoto Skyway is cool, you can see the whole of Kyoto from the transparent viewing platform😍👍! Celebrating the Gion Festival in the summer is crowded and hard work! Listening to that taiko drumming, bells and shakuhachi is great with beautiful lanterns and feeling the sacred ritual! 8:12 Thank you Rion, let us know that there are some unique activities for the Gion Festival, which can give us a deep understanding of the culture of Kyoto. Oh! Rion only ate cereal for breakfast and didn’t eat it until after 3 o’clock in the afternoon, no wonder you want to be dizzy, fortunately, this 2,500JPY rich Hana set meal😋👍, there are a variety of side dishes in one meal, and you can already eat the local delicacies of Kyoto😄. Rion is allergic to white fish, so it’s best to avoid eating it as much as possible, it will be bad for your health! 29:42 Right! looks so Kyoto 😁⛩️👏! There are many food stalls on the street hawking, making the atmosphere of the festival to the highest point, and you can feel the unique style of Japanese festivals! Thank you so much Rion for the summer Kyoto Gion Matsuri video, thank you! Fortunately, the filming was successfully completed, and I appreciate your professionalism 🫡GaÖ🤝!

Thank you for braving the heat & the crowds 🥺 (so that we don’t have to 😅🙏). The festival was beautiful & fun, but Kyoto wasn’t high on my list until I saw that leaf-shaped summer squash. Then, I also thought “I love Kyoto!” and now, I can’t wait to eat lunch there, too. 😋 (And I also can’t help but admire the station’s architecture. 🤩) Let’s keep checking off bucket list items! ✅P.S. So blessed-no food allergies, not lactose intolerant, and could handle spicy foods. 😂

Thank you for braving the burning heat and crowds to show us the festival! In this type of weather, make sure you pre-hydrate to the max with cool electrolyte packed drinks at breakfast before heading out so later you'll be less likely to have a mild heat stroke. Maybe grab some cold packs too. I'm glad you took that break before you felt worst. Lunch looked great. Take care and please be safe. 😊

Rion Ishida I have a solution for your allergy . It is likely stress induced or related to physical exercise like walking a lot . This will sometimes amplify chances of allergic reactions . So you might want to watch out for that and not eat raw white fish when stressed or when you did. physical activity because then it might trigger . Try that and hopefully it solves your problem
