Yes, the security part is not working because of the version changes. if we try to change version and update the project, its not working properly. We have to search for some other solution rather than following this method for adding security. Because its older version.

previoul you were on spring 3 which was jakarta but now when you downgraded you came to javax, try googling more maybe you can found your solution

Hi Atharv, I was facing same issue then I changed spring boot starter version to 2.6.5 and now it's working. Also, change import from import jakarta.servlet.http.HttpSession; to import javax.servlet.http.HttpSession;. this was working for me.
