In this vlog, we are exploring the air, maritime and land-based routes connecting the Bicol Region. The Bicol Region is composed of six provinces Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Masbate. In this vlog, we will be exploring 4 provinces of the Bicol Region: Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay and Catanduanes.
MASBATE: We took a flight from Manila going to Masbate province. We spent 3 days in Masbate City exploring the cafes, restaurants and other tourist spots within the city.
SORSOGON: We took a fastcraft ferry from the Port of Masbate City going to Port of Pilar, Sorsogon. The travel was about 2 hours and 30 minutes. After taking a short stroll around Pilar, we took a jeepney ride going to Putiao Intersection. From there, we waited a bus going to Sorsogon City. The bus has a stopping terminal near SM Sorsogon (Shopping Mall) We decided to start our Sorsogon City adventure from that mall. We spent 4 days in this province. Some of the highlights would be sunrise watching, eating at Casa Dominga and staying at IM INN SORSGOGON and Skyline View Hotel.
ALBAY: From SM Sorsgon, we rode a van going to Legazpi City, Albay. We spent 3 nights in this province. The main highlights of our stay would be The Oriental Legazpi and Proxy by The Oriental Staycation.
CATANDUANES: From SM Legazpi City, we rode a van going to the Port of Tabaco City, Albay. From there, we rode a RORO ship going to the Port of VIrac, Catanduanes. Virac was a simple town with many gastronomic offers. The hotels where we spent our 2 nights (Lucky Hotel and ARDCI) are also nice.
