Much of Regine's part was lifted from Donna Summer's version called "I Will Go wIth You." Thus, she didn't really have to redo the song from scratch. Their real challenge was to harmonize. And they did well. :)

With all honesty,, tagal kong hinintay na mag duet si Regine and Lani gamit yung mga signature techniques nila sa pagkanta. Alam ng lahat na - Lani can sing soprano, head voice and can whistle that maybe can surpass Regine. But in this video. Mas Mahirap yung pagkanta ni Regine ng classical song gamit ang chest voice niya, at saan man anggulo tingnan, hindi man lang s'ya na threaten, plus the fact na yung Birit niya ay napaka SOLID. if Lani is like a magic FLUTE then Regine is like magnificent VIOLIN!

@@ajpc763 To be honest, powerful din boses ni Mrs. Lani na kung saan kaya niya makipagtapatan sa boses ni Mrs. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. They are both powerful. The only difference is that, Mrs. Regine usually uses Chesty Dominant Mix, while Mrs. Lani usually uses Heady Dominant Mix when singing.

Lani sings so nice sa song na yan and expected na. But REGINE NAILED IT. Epic version RV. Napakagenerous mo and you just sing to express and Lani seems threaten dyan kaya naman she really sings with all. It is obvious to Regine during 3:10 onwards na napakacool and chill lang nya. No doubt naman how Lani sings sa isang classical na maganda nga pakinggan but Regine's style is more difficult and versatile esp nung sa last part na pambawi niya. No doubt di siya natinag. Still Reigns!

bukod dyan sa buwelo buwelo na di masyadong hobby ni Regine, siya lang nakikita kong singer mapa international o local na di gumagamit ng ear piece o nagtatakip ng tenga mapa open air o indoor venue. Masyadong matalas ang pandinig nya para ma malaman ang nararapat na adjustment para sa lakas ng boses nya. Yung iba kasi, kailangan pa maglagay ng parang earphone para dw makapa nila ang boses nila.

It is definitely easier to do Lani's part here. I love how Regine "toned down" a notch...careful not to overpower Lani's headvoice.

there are only FOUR TYPES OF VOCAL REGISTERS-- 1. vocal fry 2. modal voice 3. falsetto 4. whistle register-- of all the types of human vocal registers, MODAL VOICE is the only normal and natural voice that is commonly used in singing aside from the vocal fry which is seldom used in singing because of its very low register. Regine's singing uses modal voice most of the time from low key to the highest key, and this is very challenging. While Lani is able to use a combination of modal voice and falsetto, in low key melodies she uses modal voice done in a soft and airy tone which sometimes misinterpreted as falsetto, sometimes she uses falsetto vibrated in the chest register and upon reaching to a higher key, she uses FALSETTO but running through the HEAD REGISTER and most people call it HEAD VOICE which is being argued bcoz all voice is produced in the laryngeal thus there is no such thing as head voice. But it only means that there are techniques in singing where the vibration of the voice is using through the head or through the chest, and we can tell that through its resonance, falsetto which is vibrated through the head register is more resonant, thicker and flexible than falsetto which is vibrated only in the throat which is commonly done in male singers like the Bee Gees. Lani only have medium modal range, but she can compensate higher keys using falsetto in the head register, just for the record lani is unable to do whistle, but she can do head voice nearly matching the same key as the whistle but sound more strained.
