I guess you mean influenced not mentor. I never read any articles that mentioned Regine mentored Morissette. But of course Morissette is very vocal in saying Regine is one of her influences as much as Mariah and Whitney, to name a few.

That is sooo short ,and the video work is just strange. Half the time Morissette is singing , the camera can't seem to find her. It's frustrating to watch. I loved them singing together on it though.
