Watching Cassel and Ray try to guard Reggie was adorable. Reggie is known for his threes but he is underrated on his midrange and FLOATER/Runner game.

💯💯💯 Love their variety. Reggie was just masterful with his touch…. Ray’s balance and center of gravity made him a machine… and Sam Cassell was brilliant as a crafty creator. It’s difficult to choose which one you want to build a lineup around for Title Contention over 10 years

How the game changed in 20 years. Nowadays everything is about 3 pointers. I hope one day the midrange game and post game will come back.

I doubt it. We'll just probably see mid range experts here and there like kd kahwi cp3 dbook. At the end of the day the mid range is an inefficient shot at the hands of a mediocre player. Meanwhile you can pick up mediocre players who can only shoot 3's and play decent defense and they will still be effective as role players
