Reflective Practice in Social Work: 40 Years on from Schön

The team are back for a one-off Social Work Student Connect Webinar!
Joining Siobhan and the team for a one-off Social Work Student Connect Webinar are special guests Wendy Roberts and Hannah Barnes. As Siobhan considers Schön's hugely popular "The Reflective Practitioner:
How Professionals Think in Action", 40 years after its release, we reflect on what contemporary reflective practice looks like in social work.
This webinar highlights 3 fantastic resources for reflection, including work by Siobhan, Wendy and Dafydd Paul as well as the fantastic reflective LOTUS model/tool created by social work student Hannah Barnes. Videos of these resources can be seen below, but are discussed in depth in the webinar.
Siobhan also shares details of a new book, "The Reflective Social Worker - A little practical book" (linked to order below). This book is designed to be very practical to support the theoretical teaching about reflective practice in social work education.
We hope you enjoy this one-off return from the team and who knows, maybe we'll see you again for another one soon!
