Condolences to the Ngema family and friends, and the arts fraternity in Mzansi and throughout the world. It was a privilege to watch a number of the works Mbongeni. Dr Mofokeng captures eloquently the joy that his work brought to our hearts. It was a privilege to hear an interview with SAfm when he described the journey into the creation of the Sarafina drama after he spent time visiting mama Winnie Mandela. SA is blessed to be a home to be home to people of his genius. Zofa izinsizwa kusale izibongo. Hamba Qhawe. Uyibekile induku ebandla . INkosi ikuphe ukuphumula kwaphakade 🙏✝️🛐

Ngema may have been problematic especially around GBV. He was though correct in his analysis of Indians in the song Amandiya! Instead of being outraged they aught to have reflected. I have experienced many times the racism of Indians. Even the Ghandi they pretend fought for human rights was racist against black people. He fought in South Africa for the right of Indians to be treated better than black people and not for equality. Hinduism is very clear on that.
