This is the third time I refilled it but I figured I'd do it on camera just like the people on only fans except I don't get paid

I don’t think I’ve ever ran out of fluid with these lighters because they always break before that happens.

It's one if those things that's good to know in case you find yourself needing to refill one. Find empty ones and practice....

You can't refill it from the bottom it's just a mark from the injection mold casting I am kind of curious how they actually fill them at the factory technically if it's cold enough below butane boiling point you can fill them like a fluid such as Zippo lighter fluid I'm assuming they fill them from the valve like I am doing but I haven't seen that episode of How It's Made yet

Replacing the flint is tough though. Having an alternative igniter from an electric disposable can solve this, just hold it close to the flame hole. But not in a gay bar!

There is a lot of Mini torches that use that exact same lighter as a fuel tank. All they're missing is the flint wheel and flint and the metal shroud around where the flame goes. You can just take the parts you need from an empty lighter and put them on the torch tank. The Mini torches are made really cheap and they wear out but the tanks stay good.

Thank you I miss the early days of KZread when people actually made videos to educate the viewers now it's all about who can destroy the most expensive automobile I hate those videos every time I see them I'm like I'm driving a piece of shit vehicle working for assholes that only care about themselves so I sit here watching thinking how much I could do for others with that money that they wasted it's their prerogative and I'm glad they're able to if I could just get just a fraction of what they waste and use it for good rather than shock value it would make me and thousands of others happy as well as do good for the community and environment and animals but I am trying to bring awareness to and help I wish I could be more stupid and not so helpful I would be where I want to be right now

I just drill a small hole in the bottom and glue a refill nib in there, then I can refill until the flint dies. Coool viddy.

I recommend not filling past 70% to allow for heat expansion. Too much liquid can cause the plastic to crack and ruin the lighter.

Ive been refilling these for over 30 years . Trick was go round picking them up . Buying can of lightef fuel . Then selling 5 for £1 easy money

Seems a bit much for the trouble you go through but if your absolutely broke but you have a can of butane laying around your good to go for another month or so at least. Good hack for us broke folks.😂

They would explode if you left them on your patio table in direct sunlight. Don't even think about leaving them in your car either 😱🚘💥. Came out to cracked windshield after warped tour once because I left one on my dash that exploded. Thank God that's all it did lol. Loved the video btw, absolutely reminded me of early KZread. 👌

Yep, smoke all day every day, lighting bowls and cigs and a BIC lasts me at least a month, cost like $1. Not worth all the effort. He said he liked that particular one though so maybe worth it to him.

I have refilled this particular lighter 3x so far.. still sparks great I can also replace flint as well as remove the pesky safety mechanisms.. stay tuned

@@mrmouse-ol9pw my first thought is probably not because they are not adjustable like they were back in the day.. most if not all are not adjustable but I'm sure the valve is screwed in just got to figure out how to open it enough to allow liquid gas to flow back in

I'm sure I could figure out a way to do it but it's probably not going to be as simple as the ones with the adjustment but if there's a way to do it I'll figure it out and share my findings plus you can't see through them to see if it's working or not unless you have maybe a bright light behind it to see the level of liquid gas as you are refilling

@Wallys_World_ ok so 20 yrs ago, a buddy smarter then me, took the fill valve out of a cheap refillable lighter and installed it on the bottom of a Bic. We were all fairly impressed. I wanna say he used hot glue or some such thing but that doesn't sound quite right. Personally I absolutely hate these lighters and tend to use them for emergency use only. But every smoker/prepper/etc has bics. Cool video nonetheless

Yeah I was just showing in another video how to refill novelty ones you get from events or places usable keepsakes this video was just for fun I've seen other people refill books but I don't like that you have to push a pin in it to hold the fluid in I would like to find an old book before they took the adjustment out they used to have little metal wheels to increase and decrease the flame now they're set for your safety

I buy the packs of disposables (for situations such as this) I also have a clipper or four (the best lighter for any stoner) they are refillable. But to me this video comes off as more crack pipe than bong hits.🤣🤣🤣🤣
